Its glass-walled swimming pool, crowned by a striking diving tower and sheltered beneath a carefully designed roof, was meant to embody the future. But rising costs and newer facilities slowly pushed it out of use.

First the visitors disappeared, then the water, and finally its purpose. As the roof gave way to the elements, nature moved in — moss and plants transforming the empty pool into an accidental greenhouse.

Hours of trekking led us to a breathtaking discovery. The church remained untouched. 

The walls were adorned with intricate paintings and symbols, even the decor was still intact.

Once, this beautiful castle stood proudly in a small Czech village, full of life and history. It was built long ago and its halls were filled with joy, laughter, and grand feasts. But over time, the castle began to fall apart. Every effort to save it only made things worse. The gardens grew wild, the walls started to crumble, and soon, the castle was nothing more than a forgotten place.

The villagers called it a ghost—just a sad reminder of what it used to be. Until one day, a man with hope saw the castle and imagined its bright future. Could it be brought back to life? Or will it stay abandoned, slowly taken over by nature?

Extremely rare vintage cars from all around the world are left to decay. 

This Auto Service once belonged to John Borno, a man who dedicated his life to cars. Thanks to his passion, his work gained more recognition.

John came from an automotive family and by repairing cars he wanted to fulfill his dream of building and enhancing vehicles that could represent his legacy. 

What happened later, we could not determine. 

His car repair shop remains abandoned to this day and the only thing left in it are his unfulfilled dreams.

This Cold War bunker was built above the ground as a big concrete cube. It protected civilians in case of a nuclear attack or war.

In the 1950s, the communist dictatorship in Hungary launched the BGS program - "Bomba-Gáz-Szilánk" (Bomb, Gas and Shrapnel). Many shelters were built around the country, some of them underground and others on the surface. 

After the fall of communism, many of these shelters / bunkers were left abandoned. 

We were lucky to find an intact BGS bunker that has been sealed for more than 60 years. To this day, it still contains a large amount of unused military equipment.

All the rooms and equipment in the video are in their original condition, from the days of the greatest glory.

After the building was purchased by the city of Bratislava in 2021, the premises will be transformed into a modern restaurant and will also be used for various cultural activities.

Abandoned 1950s TV and Radio Station with Unique Architecture

This 1950s Broadcast Center controlled transmissions of television and radio signals to a central part of Europe and it was equipped with emergency broadcast studios and diesel generators in case of power failure. Broadcasting was ceased in late 2010, as shortwave and medium-wave broadcasting services were phased out. After more than 80 years of operation it has been abandoned, waiting for better tomorrow.
