Following the events of "The Wolfman", a newly infected Inspector Aberline struggles to cope with the reality of his curse with Gwen Conliffe's help; all while trying to juggle his duties as Chief Inspector the other 29 days of the month. But can he truly keep his affliction secret? More importantly, can he protect London from the influx of dark forces that lurk in the shadows? Especially whilst battling the monster inside of him? This is a fan-series based on the scrapped Dark Universe concept.

I just remembered that YEARS ago I had made concept sketches for how I thought Aberline's wolf-form would look.

Personally I always prefer a longer muzzle, but I made a shortened one for reference. I'd like to think Aberline has a longer muzzle than Talbot on principle since he's a detective and "sniffs out" clues.

I don't know if you can tell, but i tried to incorporate his muttonchop facial hair into his wolf-form's fur pattern

I just learned about the White Terrace formation that used to be in New Zealand (it was buried by natural causes after the 1886 Mount Tarawera eruption) and there's something so incredibly sad knowing something this beautiful can no longer be enjoyed.

As a bit LOTR fan, I see something like this and think of how, if it had still been around during the filming of those movies, or even The Hobbit films, something this uniquely beautiful would've no doubt made its way into the film, probably been part of Rivendell or Lothlorien. It feels like such an otherworldly place of serenity and healing, even if it's only a painting.

Apparently there's a possibility it's still intact, just buried under a ton of dirt. There's been a few discussions on potentially excavating/restoring it, but who knows.
