i really like to think that liam’s full name is william and cole’s is nicholas
imagine some new kid comes who actually goes by nick/nicholas and someone calls that name and both Nico and Cole look up and Ruby is like “neither of your names are nicholas tf?” and they’re both like “lol yeah about that”
oh my god yes it would be hilarious if ruby had no idea and she just becomes totally astonished when she finds out. and she would just never leave nico and cole alone about it and would do it just to annoy them— like call “nicholas!” when they’re in the same room and just laugh when they both look up and they’re both like “ruby stop” and she’s like “what if i don’t nicholas? do you guys even know which one i’m talking to? huh nicholas?” and even better if a guy named will comes and someone calls him william and liam responds and ruby is just absolutely elated
OK but guys…with any luck The Darkest Minds movie is gonna be great and the other book will be made into movies too. And that means we’ll get Cole and he’ll be wonderful, and we’ll love him. And then we all know what happens next

he grows up and is the godfather of rubiam’s child (along with chubs there are two godfathers because nobody said they couldn’t) and is the best uncle ever that’s what happens right?:)
yeah! and hes a firefighter and he works with Ruby to teach and mentor the reds under clancy’s control and help them regain their memories, identities, and a semblance of a normal life!
exactly what happens!!! and while he is helping the reds he slowly learns to accept himself and who he really is and has a super happy life
OK but guys…with any luck The Darkest Minds movie is gonna be great and the other book will be made into movies too. And that means we’ll get Cole and he’ll be wonderful, and we’ll love him. And then we all know what happens next

is anyone else wondering why the hell they changed yellows to “golds” in the tdm movie
Also why did they change oranges to be the most powerful. I get it is going by the idea that they are the hardest to control
oh my god yes!!! the fact that they made oranges the most powerful kind of annoyed me. they’re at the very least as powerful as reds and yellows in my opinion. also, i mean, if an orange can’t control their ability, they erase memory, like ruby. if a red or yellow can’t control their ability, they destroy, and kill. also, the whole triangle thing was inaccurate and unnecessary to me, it was only there to make ruby isolated. when in reality, she related to many people in the books, like zu and cole.
even then, i think reds are the most dangerous. yellows, from what happens in the books, need a source for their electricity. they can find an electrical system, absorb the energy, and administer it, like what jude did, or haywire the system, like zu does. reds are their own source, they don’t have any apparent limit. if a yellow and a red were in a field with nothing there but grass, the red would surely win. i guess they did that, as red was above yellow on the pyramid in the movie, but why was orange above red? as we know, oranges can access different parts of the mind. what if ruby was facing down a red? they could burn her alive before she had the chance to open her mouth and use to her ability to get them to follow her command. even clancy, who could freeze people. can’t reds breath fire? they don’t need to move to summon their ability. just thoughts but i’ve always thought as reds as the most dangerous and powerful. just my opinion, not saying any of this is necessarily canon.
