Thank you to everyone who visited our booth at AX — it was an absolute joy to see a lot of you there, trying out the game and supporting the great attitude circulating this past weekend! From Wednesday to Sunday, I had plenty of time to stream some art progress of our boys on the big screen, and I’m here to share with you guys what got accomplished! You’ll see the finished versions in the game as collectable CGs real soon! Hey guys! The game I’ve spent eons working on has finally been RELEASED ON PS4! Buy our game, check it out — I had a good laugh with the work of probably my favorite otome writer ever. I had the privilege of redrawing someone’s character design! As much revision I had to go through, I did learn a lot in the process from my commissioner about asian militant culture. It just goes to show how criticism can make for some really interesting and enlightening conversations!

Hello guys, long time no post! I’m getting back into using tumblr - hopefully soon as my main website for my artwork! I was previously known as Vancalibur — now with a namechange to DarqPrism. If you’re following me, you can expect to see much more artwork, blogs, and announcements from now on!

Horrid truths about morals and ethics will be laid bare, and the comforting beliefs we all share shall be tested. Rendered with generous panels in full color, Of Ash and Stars is looking to invite readers of all types and backgrounds to join us in this fantasmic world of dragons, demons, sorcery, angels, elves, and more!

A collaborative scribble with @sherbertday (IG) on Drawpile that could have been great... if it werent for the app crashing with any canvas larger that 10 MB... The app has so much potential — it just cant handle people wanting to create actual paintings.

Hey Vanna. First off, I wanted to say that I absolutely ADORE your art, ever since I discovered you off of instagram and I have been obsessively following you since (your art is just so GOOD). One thing I'm really curious about though is that how self-taught are you? Like, are you currently attending art school? Did you take a bunch of classes as a kid? How much do you practice? I'm so sorry but I rarely see anyone this good this young like everr and I want to know your secret if its okay *sobs*

Hey there, Anon! OMG OKAY, first off, THANK YOU SO MUCH. This comment really made my day, hahaha! Art is definitely no walk in the park, so I really appreciate someone keeping up with my stuff! I don’t attend an art school, and really the only art classes I ever took were the basic core art courses of elementary and high school. I suppose you can call me self-taught? I grew up with a fascination in the human figure, and so I always people-watched, and drew them from observation, as well as through many works by more experienced artists. It’s a natural thing for artists to implement the things they love about other artwork, or just their interests in general, in their work. So that’s what I did! I just sort of mixed and matched all the little things I love from multiple sources, (plus lots of anatomy studies and still needing plenty more) and there you have my art style! Admittedly, I don’t practice as much as I should, though that doesn’t mean I don’t practice my butt off on some days! It’s less about the amount of practice you do, and more about how conscious you are of your lessons while you practice!
