It was created as a celebration of Czech Republic in winter climbing.

“The Light of Christmas”. This is my author’s illustrated book I did as my bachelor’s work last year. It’s about a winter holiday - Christmas. But mostly, it’s about the origin of this holiday, about the winter Solstice, and also about a relation between pagan and Christian customs. Both of them worshipped the Sun – the source of light, life and hope. And that’s why the Sun was so sacred in cold winter.

An older work from the 2nd year at university. It’s built on a work of Ladislav Sutnar. And I was inspired by / I built up this from castle wooden cubes.

It was quite hard to connect everything together :D but it was fun!

I got a new, much better than I had, white ink (from Winsor & Newton) and I had to try it... well, a pigment is richer and it doesn’t dry so fast on a drawing tip, so yea I like it. :)
