NEW BLOG MEMBER!
as you can see from the last post on the blog there is a new blog member! her name is Courtney and she is honestly one of the nicest, sweetest, funniest people i have ever met and now after the trip she is honestly my best friend. We met from the EIL group in japan and i felt that she needed to be part of this blog! :) we both haven’t been posting anything recently recently but soon enough i will start posting stories and events that happened while in japan describing the whole experience with courtney and the others in our amazing group! Just wanted to update you all! <3
What happened on the boat?
I'll let Phe answer this one....
I'm FINALLY posting on this blog :) I'm Courtney (not as cool as Phe)
So, this was the first meal I ever had in Japan and as you can tell by the looks of it, it was delicious! It was Tonkatsu (fried pork cutlet) with tamago (eggs), rice, miso soup, and cold tofu and a piece of shrimp tempura. I can't even believe how delicious the food is in Japan.
Have you faced any discrimination in Japan?
No actually I never faced discrimination while in Japan. Both times I have traveled to Japan I have always felt welcomed wherever I went. Sometimes people would stare especially when I was with the group of American teenagers that I traveled with this summer but people were always friendly and eager to try to communicate in both English and Japanese. Hope that answered your question! Feel free to ask more questions I would love to answer them!
