You know how in Percy Jackson the Pantheon exsisted before humanity worshiped them, but only really gained power and form/shape in response TO the worship they recieved?

Like... Gaia and Kronos etc def pre-date Greece. CHAOS, who is a Primordial, most fuckin CERTAINLY predates human civilization.

AND! They are not the only Pantheon!

The Norse are there, who are younger; the Egyptians, who might be older. There could be older religions! Younger ones! It's clearly defined by a combo of Domain and Mortal Worship. Since Pan fuckin FADED with out enough of his domain existent and the lack of worship?

Do you know what that means? That MEANS that so long as you got a domain and have WORSHIPERS? New Fuckin Gods/Pantheon Could Show Up!

Including "FAKE" Gods/Pantheons.

Or! Assuming the Multiverse is real. As we both can and can not. And are UNABLE TO FUCKIN PROVE, one way or another? This includes, INVITING Exsistent Gods/Pantheons from ELSEWHERE! Such as??

Well... "Jedi" is a real, in fact, IRL religion currently. And the phenomenon of "I started doing it ironically or as a joke but forgot, now do it seriously/incorporated into my personality" is a known thing. So like...

The Force~✨️ wishes to explore this new galaxy! New universe! It IS Creation beholding itself and wishes to sightsee! Do things! TOUCH STUFF!!

Is it alarming? To the demigods new mom? Highly. She just pulled a fuckin virgin Mary. And then her baby's psychic. But like... we stay silly? Maybe she can ask here fellow single mom? *ask for parenting tips from the mom of a Greek demigod, who def makes assumptions.*

I only read the first part questioning the multiple Pantheons existing at once, and I needed to throw my personal Theory in just to get it out of my head.

The Duat. That's it.

The Duat in the Kane Chronicles is the Layers of Reality that the PJO World exists in. Its an infinitely expanding Ocean below your feet, the deeper you go into it the farther you fall into the World of the Gods.

Its also where places like the Egyptian Afterlife exist, as well as the Throne Room of the Gods, and other Divine Places like that. If you go deep enough, you can even find the place where the Egyptian Creation Myth took place, like Carter and Sadie do in Serpents Shadow.

In Demigods and Magicians, the Greek Mist is described as the Uppermost Layer of the Duat, the thing that seperates the "Normal" World from the Mythological one.

My theory is that All Pantheons exist within the Duat, Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Norse, Etc.

They all inhabit different parts of it, but places like Olympus and The Underworld are just Realms in the Duat just like the Egyptian Afterlives and Throne Room are, in different locations.

Demigods are born skimming along the surface of the Duat, existing partially in the Mundane World where the Sun is a giant ball of Gas, and partially in the Mythological World where the Sun is Apollo's Chariot. Just like how Artemis explained that both things are true to Nico in Titans Curse. In either layer of Reality, either explanation can apply.

Also its interesting that in both KC and ToA, the lowest place in all existence is Chaos. In KC they find the Ocean of Chaos from which the world emerged when they go to the deepest levels of the Duat to find Apophis' Shadow, and in ToA Apollo falls past Tartarus and hangs on the edge of all Creation over the realm of Chaos where all Primordials are born. An interesting similarity I found.

In my head, the PJO Cosmology is basically a tower:

Mundane World- Science and Mortals

Greek Mist, the thin layer between the magical and mundane

Duat, the infinite layers of reality

Descending Layers of the Duat, where all the Godly Realms exist

Chaos, the Origin of All Existence at the deepest levels of Reality.

Oooooh! This gives me? A NEW option?? Because then the Force doesn't need a human at all to enter the mortal world. It can, by being invited through Worship (intended or not, accidentally or otherwise), enter through the Duat!

Effectively? Divine immigration from Sideways to Here. Like walking INTO an ocean, because you've heard there's a land mass over there and you want to go see it. Was it immediate? No. In fact, by Divine standards, it actually took quite a long time! When everything is instantaneous, days and weeks and MONTHS to move? My goodness! You really WERE quite far away, weren't you?

But now? The Force is here! Just below the surface! In a place where the magical and clear sighted could find, but mortals could not. Got itself a nice lil island. As ya do. Birth place for a GOD™ as one does (when one is a primordial, formless, Energy Of All Things. Because you do not have hands. Or eyes. Or a mouth. Actually, you have no sensory organs! Sad. How are you to touch things? Which are also You? Or explain things‽ To people! Who are ALSO YOU‽‽). It's why they created the Father, Mother, Daughter, and Son.

This place ALSO needs one! We shall call them... Daught-*SI-OC coughs pointedly, refusing to be named "Daughter" and instead suggests their own name*....? Or that? I guess. What ever makes you happy, small MYSELF™. I love you.

And like? Just like dryads are born from trees? OC is born from the Force and a transplanted Uneti. A BIG ONE. She's basically the Force equivalent of a Titan. Born to a primordial Force and nature itself.

Why? Because the Force wants an in! New galaxy, New Pantheon! Let's go TOUCH STUFF! Interfere in things! Observe atoms!! Oooh, look sweetie, a PLANT! She? Am BABY. Itty bitty baby god. They happen sometimes. Most either leave, fade, or just sorta... float around in the Duat without purpose.

I mean, do YOU have any idea how many cults there have been? They do! A LOT!

The only reason Not-Daughter is DIFFERENT? Is because the Force HAS active worshipers. A galaxy worth. AND The Daughter is kinda... nebulously dead. The whole Mortis thing? Left a lot of Domains up for grabs. They NEED a lodestone. So like... 👀 no one said that lodestone had to be IN galaxy... (it's just highly suggested and preferred.)

Which like??

Imagine dealing with a Galactic Sith Caused War with HALF your brain... while the OTHER half of your brain is trying to keep these Very Sweet Young Peoples ALIVE through their parent and Grandparents war! Yes! Of COURSE you can hide on my island! Please, please! Come right in! You poor things! *chases the minotaur off with a broom* Have some soup.

And like? Imagine being the Jedi high council! The children? Keep playing with/around the "nice Master from the Great Tree"? What. WHAT? What so you fucking MEAN the gardens are HAUNTED? That our SACRED TREE might be POSSESSED? There is a WAR ON! We can NOT afford to have that be happening right now!!!

Just? Fix-it via the most chaos physically and spiritually possible.

Cause, its not the first time this has happened. Sure usually these Newly-Formed Gods are too weak or too uninterested in the mortal world to ever leave the Duat and enter Reality, but this one

Barged Right In and started Touching Things.

Zeus is constantly trying to get a vote going to ban this new God from messing with their Mortals, Horus and Isis are more welcoming because they also interact with the world through Avatars and thats something they have in common, and Thor took one look at them and asked for an Arm Wrestling Contest. If Jesus is too cowardly to take him up on it, maybe this new God will!
