A little Cold War photography. I took this photo in West Berlin. The photograph shows the sign denoting the end of the BRITISH (UK) Sector and the beginning of the SOVIET Sector. Between this the sign and the BRANDENBURG GATE and the QUADRIGA (on top) is the BERLIN WALL.

My favorite alarm clock of all time. I purchased this clock in East Berlin, back in early 1986. It worked for another thirteen years when for some odd reason it did not like Y2K and stopped working altogether. Here’s to you East German RUHLA analog wind-up clock with alarm. Thanks for all your years of fine service.
