Work in progress on a new painting (still need to add the beef)... Fast food was a twice-a-year sort of treat for my family when I was young and although my parents loved Burger King (which was where I had my first job making 4.35 an hour) I always preferred the fries at the Golden Arches. Anyhow, how are your resolutions going?

One missed call... My wife and I live in an old house - which we love. Old houses are great, but they definitely come with their fair share of problems, one of which is asbestos. I'm pretty sure the wood that was used to build my house is actually made of asbestos. Anyhow, we're quickly running out space with all the arting I'm doing, so we're looking into taking care of the asbestos in our basement so we'll have more space. Do you remember that scene in E.T. where they've got Elliot's house tented? Well it seems my house may look like that if we go the abatement route. Bummer... Also: I've been on a bit of an 80s kick lately - I'm working on a few pieces that got me all sorts of nostalgic and so I've been making my wife listen all the 80s music and watch all the 80s movies that I grew up with. She's eight years younger than me (which is just endless old joke fodder for her), so I'm not sure that she's quite as impressed with some of these things as I am, but she's been a great sport. Point being, if you grew up in the 80s or just love shit from that decade, you might enjoy some of what I've got lined up!
