All the Kingâs Men
Hello all. Tonight I come to you with the Good News about Donald Trump. Two years ago, I spoke with a friend of my fatherâs and a friend of his about what we were experiencing as a result of January 6th. On that day and the months following, we witnessed the start of what I called then and another person (a republican politician) called later a second American Revolution.
I probably mentioned this in a previous blog but after watching CNN on July 4 of 2021 I learned the other side of the story, from the protestorsâ point of view, and found out about the woman who was shot and killed. A couple of weeks ago, I read that another protestor lost his life that day and one police officer lost his life three days later from complications from the event.
I mention this because as an author of historical fiction I studied the Boston Massacre which started the American revolution and remember that Crispus Attucks, a black man, was the first person killed.
The woman who died on January 6tb, Ashli Babbitt, reminds me of Attucks in this narrative we are witnessing.
As it stands, we are beholden to the British Crown financially (emotionally). Until we get our independence from it, like when an adult wants to break free of financial dependence on his/her parents, we cannot be totally self determined. Former President Trump offers the right leadership for this liberation; akin to George Washington leading our forefathers in battle for our physical liberation from Great Britain (6,000 free black men fought on the colonial side).
Until next time God loves you and so do I.
