Welcome to Nug E Cheese

It’s an ongoing sitcom style AU based on the children’s arcade slash restaurant, Chuck E Cheese. It’s a fun service worker AU with Neve as the manager. Rook works in her store, along with other veilguard members. Solas is the aloof regional manager. There’s a doctor hot pants (Single hot dads in your area). And a potential serial killer. Follow the antics of the gang as they try to save their Dock Town store and live their lives while working a minimum wage job.

It’s silly and fun and earnest and lots and lots of other dragon age OCs come to visit the store. This AU features my main rook, Turvi.

Useless Veilguard fact of the day: Day 451

Similar to rogue Rooks, mage Rooks have a special animation that plays when you interrupt their staff light attack combo. If you make only two out of three shots, they will twirl their staff in their hands before returning to the idle combat animation.

The Veil is steady, the elven gods are dead, and the Blight is over. All that is left to do is rebuild and rest, though Dawes finds the former easier than the latter. In a small village not far from Redcliffe, Dawes learns that grieving is a process, and though the battle is behind him, it will still dog his steps for some time.

This started as an experiment in using only white at varying levels of opacity on a black background, using only the eraser and blender for shading. If the painting is shown on a white background it entirely disappears.

I'd show a screen shot of that but it would be really boring 🤣

In any case, it ended up being a lot of fun (if frustrating at times) and I'm really happy with how it turned out!

While the Necrosis status effect will continuously deplete Rook's health for its entire duration, it can't actually kill them, and will only bring their health to 1 at worst.
