DC Nitelife had the pleasure of dining and reviewing Willy K’s in Greenbelt, MD and the food and ambiance was great. Willy K’s has been in existence for over 20 years and they are a mainstay in the community. Donte Newman is the restaurant’s manager, Nate Sledge is the general manager and Michelle Ballaoch is the director. Willy K’s has a great staff who are very accommodating and courteous which makes the experience that much more enjoyable.
They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and have Happy Hour, Monday thru Friday, 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., Bar Bingo on Wednesday, Karaoke on Friday and Saturday, and Sunday Football with Touchdown Specials.Willy K’s welcomes everyone to come by and sample all the wonderful dishes they have to offer. Feel free to host your party at Willy K’s and there is an outdoor patio area by the pool which is great during the summer months.
A few of their favorite specialties we sampled are:
Maryland Crab Cake Dinner (a pair of jumbo lump crab cakes with a special blend of spices)
Stuffed Flounder (crab filled flounder filet broiled in wine sauce)
Oreo Brownie Sundae (warm brownie topped with ice cream, chocolate syrup and whipped cream)
WILLY K’S is excellent for unwinding, and enjoying good food and drinks. The bar area is a great place to network and enjoy great conversation.
