#a massive issue #i know the post basically says this but like. god what an issue among groups of trans women #i like kissing ppl and sleeping with ppl but what i dont like is feeling like that's what's expected of me #i am currently clinically unfuckable though which is awesome #and i do get a level of guilt stemming from when i am attracted to other trans women #but i dont like. stop interacting with ppl if i stop finding them attractive #mostly ppl have stopped hanging out with me if i say i want to stop sleeping with them #so i eventually landed on not explicitly saying that i want to stop sleeping with people #so that they'll still hang out with me #while I actively do not sleep with said people #meanwhile i tend to feel really bad when im attracted to someone i dont want to complicate things with #because i dont want people to think im reducing them to a sexually available person #i would rather not express that attraction than make someone uncomfortable #but i certainly do not allow that attraction to influence who i choose to spend time with or help #and i find that a lot of what i thought was attraction tends to be “oh i really want to be friends with this person”#because there are 100% ppl im not attracted to but who i want to be friends with #usually the most comfortable type of ppl to be friends with tbqh #but that's also exactly how i treat ppl im attracted to that i either have no chance with or i would make things Weird with #if i expressed that attraction #idk. it's a problem and it's difficult navigating attraction in that environment #because ive been heavily taken advantage of because of this general vibe around groups of trans women #and the last thing i want is to take advantage of anyone else

There’s six guys who live in this flat and all they do all day is play WoW and watch movies. Waking up at 2pm every day and there’s always just someone asleep on the bed near all the multimonitor computer setups. There’s always music playing and it feels like a recovery day every day, padding around blearily in pyjamas or underwear. Old hoodies from defunct school teams. They’ve got this system where they’re selling their excess computing power to companies and hosting all this warez, and they’re stealing the internet from the business next door anyway and getting welfare on top of all that. They’re self sufficient and never go outdoors except to buy more fast food, and even then only in the dark. But then one of them wakes up dead some heavy afternoon. He’s just dead and they don’t know why but maybe the floor covered in fast food wrappings is a clue. They don’t want to tell the cops because of the purgatory den they live in and the illegality that supports it, and as far as they know he never had any actual parents. So it’s trouble. It’s taking a long trip out to the forest and thinking about how stars are so far away for the first time in a long time. It’s sweating in the cold air and digging a hole all night with your brand new shovels to leave him alone in. And it’s a long few days cracking all his passwords to keep his identity and associated payments persisting. Until the rhythm of waking up every day at 2pm to play WoW for nine hours and half watch a movie on your other monitor takes over again. It’s the same as it ever was except now there’s a room no one ever goes in.

sometimes it occurs to me that while "get bottom surgery and then use a strapon" is an obvious course of action for many trans lesbians, a lot of cis people would be extremely confused by the suggestion that someone would do this.

people are right about how trans women are seen exclusively as predators for having sexuality at all but i don't think we need to go as far as to say cis women dont experience anything like this. are you familiar with the concept of the predatory lesbian? have you had to have a conversation with someone who was like "i hate lesbians cause theyre all predators" and when i called em out on it she was like "well youre just wrong and youre silencing me by telling me im spreading a harmful stereotype cause i got uncomfortable when a woman hit on me". it's like the hatred of any lesbian being into women is seen similarly to any trans woman expressing sexuality at all. people hate it when a heavily seuxalized group of women have their own wants and esp hate it when that group of women arent interested in men

#the whole thing is even based on the concept that lesbians arent quite fully women #due to being attracted to women #sounds like the same basis to me but im just one lesbian trans woman #i dont know everything
