i posted about some wanted plots I wanted to do last year, so some of these are old, but some are new too! please be warned some of these are horror or apocalyptic in nature. message me or like this post if you're interested, but please don't reblog!
backrooms/poolrooms: muse a wakes up in the backrooms (I like poolrooms the best lol) and endures walking aimlessly for hours, perhaps even days, all alone with the feeling they're being hunted. eventually, they come across muse b. we'll decide where to go from there!
supernatural hunter x supernatural creature: muse a is a hunter from a long line of hunters. muse b is a supernatural creature (likely a werewolf bc theyâre my fave lol). romeo and juliet shenanigans ensue.
lost/yellowjackets: our muses were on a plane somewhere, only to crash in the wilderness or on a desert island. this would likely start just after the plane crashed so we can get some extra survival goodness. this has potential to be a mumu.
the serial killerâs lover: muse a is an active serial killer, muse b is their boy/girlfriend/partner that either turns a blind eye to their loverâs extracurricular activities or was previously unaware. now theyâve caught muse a in a compromising position. will they turn in muse a to the police? or help them cover it all up?
anansi's goatman story: our muses go camping, only to encounter a doppelganger that keeps slipping in and out of their group unnoticed. it will help if you've read the creepypasta but I can explain in dms too! this could very well turn into a mumu as well.
hockey player x figure skater: muse a is a hockey player, muse b figure skates. naturally, the figure skating club and the hockey team hate each other, so our muses of course arenât allowed to like each other. this would either be an enemies-to-lovers type deal or secret dating!
outlaws/western: our muses are part of an outlaw gang in the late 1890s. muse a is more of a reluctant member because they have nowhere else to go, while muse b is a newer addition to the group that thinks itâs all fun and games (so far).
silent hill: our muses find themselves in the ghost town of silent hill, only to discover the horrors that plague it soon after arrival when the siren blares. our muses could be strangers or know each other, it just depends on what we plot out!
love during a major disaster: our muses met right before a disaster occurs and have to find each other among the chaos. obviously not a real disaster that occurred in real life like the titanic, but just rose/jack vibes.
zombie or any apocalypse: as always, i'm primarily interested in apoc situations (doesn't have to be zombies, btw!) and will forever fuck with a good zombie storyline.
* / (somewhat) romantic dark / horror plots đȘ
most of these plots are based on ideas from horror movies & thrillers, in which there should be trigger warnings for those sort of plots: blood, gore, m*rder, death, stalking, etc. these can be taken in a romantic way or not ! be reminded that this is just fiction & a way for you to explore the darker parts of muses.
CONSTANT CRAVING. muse a has been stalking muse b for years, but it hasnât been extremely insidious. in fact, at this point it seems like muse a knows muse b more than they know themselves. itâs like a soft little security blanket that muse b begins to miss because they seem to be stalking them less and less. so they try to figure out who muse a is to see why theyâve stopped.
BURY A FRIEND. all throughout high school and college, muse a was bullied by their group of friends⊠except no one really knew, and just assumed that they were a regular part of that group. unknown to anyone, muse b begins to kill off that friend group and muse a thinks that theyâre next. what they donât know is that theyâre the reason their friends are dying: muse b noticed the bullying, and wanted to put a stop to it.
NIGHT SHIFT. there was a kidnapping gone wrong, and for whatever reason muse a was picked up by a group of serial killers. but when muse b is expected to watch over them, things donât go as planned. muse a is incredibly witty and spunky, and begins to seduce muse b so that they can figure out a way to escape.Â
TWO LONELY HEARTS. there is a twisted person on the loose who keeps picking up people and keeping them locked in a house. for only a few weeks it has only been muse a and muse b living in the house, and even though they try they just canât seem to find a way out. they have plenty of food and water, and the house is fully functioning. at first they canât stand living with each other, but after weeks of being together something changes.
WEâRE NO GOOD. through sheer coincidence, two hitmen have been happily married. in a turn-around of events, these two muses have gotten new assignments. both are incredibly large payouts; enough to put away for 10 college funds and then some. the only problem is⊠both of their targets are each other. and neither of them know that theyâre stalking each other.
ANOTHER VERSION OF ME. back when they were dating, muse a genetically engineered a tracker that they put in their loverâs dna so that they could track wherever muse b âreleasedâ. muse a completely forgot about it until they broke up⊠it was not mutual. muse b had moved on, but muse a wanted to get back at them: so muse a began to track them and everyone they got intimate with. and every single person muse b sleeps with ends up murdered.Â
UNTOUCHABLE FACE. modern technology is a great thing, especially how far virtual reality has come. with ânexus programsâ anyone can connect their brain to a small chip and be fully immersed in their video game world. whether it be a fantasy world, racing, or one of those popular shooter games! and thatâs how muse a and muse b meet. and they quickly realize that it really is fully immersive. bonus points if they know each other in real life, but donât know whoâs playing the characters.
â YOUâRE AWFUL, I LOVE YOU â SENTENCE STARTERS
feel free to change pronouns, etc!
LOVE ME DEAD
â love me cancerously. â â kill me romantically. â â youâre awful. i love you. â â you know just how to hold me. â â when your edges soften, your body is my coffin. â â love me dead. â â youâre an office park without any trees: corporate and cold, gushing for gold. â â does the fun ever start? â â howâs your new boy? does he know about me? â â youâve got the mark of the beast. â â youâre born of a jackal. youâre beautiful. â
DRUNKEN LAMENT
â self-loathing is quaint. â â youâre gone and iâm lost. â â you said âforever.â â â tell me, why canât you stay? â â iâd ride in your pocket all day, but i just donât fit. â â iâve been drunk since saturday, without you, without restraint. â â iâm starving for words that would ration my sadness away. â â you were the mermaid for me, till one day you found your feet, leaving me in this god-awful bottle, a model of heartache and grief. â
PLEASE
â take me over. â â please save this for me. â â iâll come back for you, love, i promise to. â â my love will burn, and my heart will stay. â â iâll be gone by first light, last chance, hold on tight until then. â â i lie awake and memorize your face as you sleep next to me. â â the road looms lonely, but i will not fail. â
TOPEKA
â i found god in a catalytic converter in topeka on a monday night. â â i taste blood every time i think of summer. â â iâm waiting desperately to get out of town. â â youâve been known to obsess over the future. â â do you think youâll get away from the past? â â consider what you might have found. â â every saint has a past. every sinner has a future. â â you know what keeps me hanging around. â â from here on, you can count on all things going the way they mustâve from the start. â â all you feel is the current flowing through you and seizing your infected heart. â
LAKE PONTCHARTRAIN
â rest your soul and feed your brain. â â youâll get to see everything the water can be. â â the rain was coming down. â â it was the kinda night that makes you think the whole worldâs going to hell. â â wade to where the shallows break. â â the interstate was flooded. â â bad move, in retrospect. â â come back! â â there were no bodies; iâve got none to hide. â
SUCH AS IT ENDS
â iâve been losing sleep for days. â â love, such as it ends, breaking the hearts that wouldnât bend, closes the doors you used to listen through. â â weâll start again. â â in the end, iâll be with you. â â youâve been burning up for days. â â you know they canât all be saved. â â iâve been vacant for so long, but you were there. â â you look so tired now. just please, love, let me take it on my shoulders. â â we might make it home. â
MUTINY BELOW
â put me in my proper place. â â iâm not the one for you, but youâre here now. â â can you come in? â â you made me feel alive again. â â you made me feel alive again. i wish weâd never met. â â i finally let go and learned to live without you. â â there were nights when i was sure your love was all i had. â â weâll work it out tomorrow. â â let me go. â
STREETLIGHTS
â when the streetlights come on, the pooling night is leveed aside and pressed in twilight against our two rooms. â â iâll see you tonight. â â the pavement is aching, cicadas are crying, the wine-colored air is breathing thoughts through your hair, breezing to me, leading me there. â â i come alive as the shadows parade. â â my hot summer blood comes in floods and in waves. â â iâm not longer afraid of what youâll say. â â streetlights will keep watch over me: they flicker like stars. â â the secrets carefully kept inside run the streets red. â â now, there are no words, only the glow in our wires. â â our lips set the sun. â â iâll never leave you. â
GO-GETTER GREG
â you must be new, i guess. at least, youâre new to me. â â i saw you unpacking your car so i said to myself âmaybe i should help her out,â since weâre neighbors now, and all the other people here are elderly and probably a little stand-offish, and iâve got nothing to do, and whatnot⊠by the way, i live in 207, my name is ______ . â â iâm a go-getter guy with a gun on my hip. iâm just searching for that someone to be firing it. â â iâve narrowed down the field and iâm taking a glance, and iâve say youâve got a pretty good chance to be my girlfriend. â â didnât mean to sneak up on you there. â â you could come over tonight, iâll be watching cop dramas, smoking fatty-fatties. â â i really think you could use a guy like me in your life, looking after you. â â iâd never leave you along. â
THE HORROR OF OUR LOVE
â iâm a killer. â â iâve murdered half the town, left you love notes on their headstones. iâll fill the graveyards until i have you. â â i can smell your softness. â â love, iâd never hurt you. â â oh, the horror of our love; there was never so much blood pulled through my veins. â â i wake in terror. â â iâm your servant. â â break my skin and drain me. â â that ancient language spoken through fingers, the awful edges where you end and i begin. thereâs catastrophe in everything iâm touching. â â youâll die like angels sing. â â youâre a ghost, love. â â you are a dream among the sharks: beautiful and terrifying. â â we dance in dark suspension. â â bury me in the ocean floor beneath you where theyâll never hear us scream. â
SCREAM, SCREAM, SCREAM
â a man is many things; letâs count them all tonight. â â thereâs nothing catchy about the life of a saint. â â if i scream about a good manâs life, would you ever stop and listen? â â sing it sad and sweet. â â say goodnight, goodbye, love: in the morning, you will see. â â itâs breaking me down to tears. â â iâd rip my eyes out for you. â â iâll pull you close. â â itâs so dark tonight. â â would it make you cry? â â would you finally see that all your lives are moments? â â all your words and closeness keep you here and human. â â do you think theyâll ever care? â
IN SPACE
â the moon is old, all dusty craters. â â stretching in the morning light, no celestial body could compare to you. â â all i think about is you and me and the atmosphere. â â i canât wait for gravity to bring you close to me. â â i bet the leaves are changing there again. â â iâm hurtling and pressurized; if only i could get a breath of you. â â i hope this message finds you, and you wonât feel so alone, even if i never make it home. â â your pictureâs all i look at. â â my place is with you. â

LOVE AND DEATH AND THE AMERICAN GUITAR
â  i remember everything!  â
â  i remember every little thing as if it happened only yesterday.  â
â  i was barely seventeen and i once killed a boy with a fender guitar.  â
â  i do remember that it had a heart of chrome and a voice like a horny angel!  â
â  the guitar bled for about a week afterward.  â
â  so i took my guitar and i smashed it against the wall!  â
â  stop! wait a minute! stop it, boy!  â
â  what do you think youâre doing?  â
â  you know i love you, but youâve got a hell of a lot to learn about rock and roll!  â

â  i feel the fever grow.  â
â  dâyou know what itâs like? all revved up with no place to go.  â

â  whatâs the meaning of life? whatâs the meaning of it all?  â
â  theyâve got a file on you and itâs a mile long.  â
â  youâre just another case of arrested development and just another wasted youth.  â
â  they say iâm wild and iâm reckless.  â
â  you should be acting your age.  â
â  a wasted youth is better by far than a wise and productive old age.  â
WHO NEEDS THE YOUNG
â  who needs the young?  â
â  the sado-masochistic things theyâve never doneâŠÂ  â
â  disgusting!  â
â  my eyes just arenât what they wereâŠÂ  â
â  is there anyone left who can see?  â
â  blind him!  â
â  my lips just arenât what they were.  â
â  is there anyone left who can kiss?  â
â  spit on him!  â
â  my mind just isnât what it wasâŠÂ  â
â  is there anyone left who can dream?  â
â  wake him!  â
â  is there anyone left who can sing?  â
â  silence him!  â
â  my sex just isnât what it wasâŠÂ  â
