okay more serious version of my other post about this but the fact that arachnophobia modes that censor spiders are the video game accessibility settings things that have become widespread instead of other accessibility settings perplexes me so much. like if you can remove spiders from your game but not things like flashing lights or effects that cause motion sickness i think you might need to reconsider your priorities

oh my god i’m so tired psychotic does not mean violent it does not mean angry or erratic. it refers to a person suffering from psychosis, a loss of touch with reality that includes hallucinations and/or delusions. psychotic people are not inherently violent and y'all need to understand how much stigma you create when you again and again incorrectly use the word psychotic without even thinking about it

Pet peeve: shows including a character performing a solo and the accompaniment including instruments that are visibly not being played in the scene. This applies when character is playing an instrument because it’s easy to tell if there’s an instrument playing alongside the vocals (see reason below)

Reason: I usually play music solo and these scenes make it harder to find music I can play on my own. Deceitful.

Some but not all culprits: Woke Up from Adventure Time, Edelweiss from Sound of Music

Monster from Adventure Time gets a pass tho because the recording for that song is so damn good. Vocals and ukulele are both great. Also the extra sounds are subtle background noises that are barely even in the song
