**While I was searching for information about Kim Rok Soo, hoping to discover something new, I came across two well-known facts that reminded me of previous theories I had considered.**
### 1. **Kim Rok Soo’s Memory and Selective Forgetting**
Kim Rok Soo remembers everything thanks to the power of the Record, yet he forgets anything he dislikes—as if suffering from selective amnesia. Although he feels guilt over the deaths of many people he tried to protect, such as Soohyuk, Jung Soo, and Jin Tae from the shelter, and although he hates recalling the brutal ways they died, he never forgot their deaths.
This made me wonder:
**What are the things he forgets or deletes from his memory?**
Could some of them be important memories or events that play a major role in the story?
I once thought that maybe he had the power of the Record even before the catastrophe, and that the Hunters didn’t tamper with his memories—he erased them himself. Perhaps the betrayal by his classmate and the orphanage supervisor, and their attempt to kill him when he was a student, caused a trauma so deep that he chose to forget.
This is just a passing thought, and I hope the author will eventually clarify the truth.

### 2. **The Shelters, Cotonne, and the God of War**
I revisited information about the shelters, which we know were built to protect Koreans from monsters. Originally, we don’t know who granted the world its supernatural powers or created the shelters.
But do you remember Cotonne?
In one of my previous posts, I theorized that Cotonne might be Grandma Kim in disguise, due to a war-related mission.
Cotonne used a shelter blessed by the power of war during the Indanbell arc to protect Cale and Arehabin. And here’s the point I reached:
**Doesn’t Cotonne’s shelter resemble the Korean shelters?**
Could it be that the God of War is the one who granted them?
Cotonne told Cale:
*"Wherever there is war, the followers of the God of War will be present."*
That’s why I guessed that these shelters were created by the God of War, and that Cotonne was present in Korea at that time.
**What do you all think?*
I think most of us have already seen the new novel cover… but am I the only one who feels uneasy about it? No, actually—not the only one! My friends felt the same way.
It’s stunning, beautiful, and visually amazing. But… it’s way too peaceful and gentle. It doesn’t match the atmosphere of the novel or the intense events happening right now.
And Cale… his calm pose honestly scares me 😭😭😭
We’re almost at the peak of the story, facing the strongest hunter families—so why is the cover so serene?
I spent hours yesterday (well, all day with my friends!) discussing, analyzing, and trying to understand the meaning behind the artwork.
Maybe we’re overthinking it, but Ryu Han-nim always throws unexpected twists our way. So yes, maybe this cover represents the calm after the storm—or a major turning point in Cale’s life.
In the end, I really hope it’s just our imagination, and that Cale gets the happy ending he deserves. He’s suffered enough 😔😭💔
*After healing the demons afflicted by the Gray Disease, Cale thought he had recovered—but the truth was, he was still sick. Once he finished tending to them, he temporarily’s base. He was ready to plan his next move, but the group stopped him from leaving. He protested, “I’m feeling better now. I’ll improve with time.”
Ron, standing beside him, gave a cold smile and said, “Young master, you’re worrying this old man. You need rest. The Demon Realm can wait a little longer.”
Cale shivered at Ron’s icy tone, thinking, *This old man is scarier than the Demon King himself.*
With no other option, he lay down, and Ron gently covered him. He then looked to On, who nodded in understanding and ushered Raon and Hong out of the room to let Cale sleep in peace. Ron left only after confirming the young master had fallen asleep—he planned to fetch a wet towel, since Cale was still feverish and his breathing uneven. Cale finally drifted off, more out of fear of Ron than exhaustion.**
---
🩹 *Silence filled the room… until a sudden, sharp pain pierced Cale’s knee.*
His eyes remained closed as he groaned, “Why does my knee hurt? It feels cursed.”
Just then, a delicate voice echoed, both sharp and gentle: “Rok Soo… are you cursed now?”
Startled, Cale opened his eyes to find blood trickling from his knee—and his body… smaller than expected. But what truly shocked him was the voice.
That voice was nostalgic. Familiar. Ancient. A sound etched in his soul.
He turned his head instinctively—and there she was. A woman in her early thirties walked toward him serenely, her hair in a perfect bun, not a strand out of place. Her gaze was both warm and piercing.
Cale’s lips trembled, unable to speak. Overwhelmed by emotion, he forgot the pain entirely and bolted toward her with yearning.
*I didn’t expect to see her… not even in a dream. But even if this is a dream, it doesn’t matter. Just one minute... Yes, if I can just reach her for one minute—*
He couldn’t finish the thought. He tripped, nearly falling face-first. The woman’s expression turned to shock, and she rushed to him.
*Damn it... my body fails me even in dreams.*
Before he could hit the ground, a strong hand grabbed him and lifted him.
He stared at the man who’d caught him—and froze again.
It was a face he hadn’t seen in over thirty years. Radiant. Alive. A man in his early thirties, glowing with vitality.
The woman sighed and slowed her pace, approaching them softly.
She came closer—not to Cale, but to Rok Soo—and pulled out an embroidered handkerchief.
“Rok Soo… my child. Why were you running so recklessly? Are you cursed now?”
Tears welled in Cale’s eyes—no, in little Rok Soo’s eyes. Because he heard her voice again.
Her whisper, calling his name.
Yes.
These two were Rok Soo’s parents: Kim Ha Yoon and Choi Son Hwa.
---
🌧️ *Rok Soo had always tried not to think about them. He didn’t need a record to remember—everything about them was carved into his heart.*
Their eyes.
Their laughter.
Their gentle touch.
Their words.
Their kindness.
He couldn’t forget… but he couldn’t recall without pain either.
Every memory stabbed like needles and blades.
Then his mother spoke again:
“Rok Soo… why aren’t you answering? Are you alright? Oh my god… when did you hurt your knee?”
His father gently patted his head and said playfully, “Calm down, darling. Don’t scare Rok Soo. He’s strong, see? He’s not even crying. We’ll patch him up now.”
Rok Soo replied, “Yes, Mom. I’m fine. It’s just a small wound.”
His mother narrowed her eyes and grabbed her husband’s ear.
“Small wound? What are you teaching our child? He’s just a kid. He *should* complain. He *should* cry. He *should* scream and express his pain!”
Ha Yoon winced, set Rok Soo down gently, and apologized.
“You’re right, dear. I didn’t realize how my words might affect him.”
Then he turned to Rok Soo and said, “Forget what I said. If it hurts, tell us.” He began treating the wound.
But Cale’s thoughts were elsewhere.
*This is just a small wound… compared to using Moment of Death. Compared to shattering my plate. This pain is nothing. Why are they overreacting?*
Still, he smiled and said, “I’m fine. It’s just a small injury.”
*(Yes… even in a dream, I don’t want to worry them. I want to see their smiles… before I wake up. Before they disappear like all fleeting dreams.)*
His mother looked at him in disbelief, held his face gently, and whispered:
“Rok Soo… my child. Why do you say that?
You shouldn’t bottle up your emotions. That breaks your mother’s heart.”
“If you’re hurting—cry. Complain. Scream. Come to us, my child. Don’t run.
We’ll be the ones to run to you.
Don’t ignore your pain.”
Then Cale felt his father’s hand stroke his head again:
“My child… we’re your parents. Your family. Your home.
We’ll never get angry, never grow tired of hearing you cry.
We’re here for you. Tell us the truth… are you hurting?”
💔 He felt pain—not from the wound, but deep in his soul. His heart twisted, his spirit tore apart.
How long had it been since he heard those words?
Since he felt the warmth of their touch?
Yes—they had been kind. Loving. Perfect parents.
Warm tears streamed down his cheeks.
He looked at his mother, collapsed into her arms, and sobbed—
“Mom… it hurts. Dad… it hurts.
It hurts so much… I can’t bear it.”
They embraced him gently.
“Yes, our child.
We’re here… with you and for you.”
Even if it was just a dream…
Cale was grateful.
---
🌙 *Meanwhile, Ron had returned with a wet towel.
He gently touched Cale’s forehead—but felt something warm trickle onto his hand.*
He first assumed it was sweat… but when he lifted his hand, his face paled.
Cale was crying in his sleep.
The tears rolled down, one by one, like a child’s sorrow.
Cale murmured in Korean, “Mama… Papa… it hurts…”
Though Ron didn’t understand the words, his instincts as a father told him:
Cale was calling out to his real parents.
Not the young master he served now—no, the true Rok Soo.
Helpless, Ron did the only thing he could—
He gently caressed Cale’s head and whispered,
“Young master… I’m here. I’ll do my best to help you.”
Cale’s eyelids fluttered open slowly.
He looked at Ron—not with fear or anxiety this time.
He raised his hand and wiped his tears.
Ron asked softly,
“Young master… did you have a nightmare?”
Cale replied,
“No, Ron… I saw a dream.
It was a beautiful one…
I wish it lasted longer.”

I have a quick theory I'd like to discuss with you.
In the novel "tcf" the author relies heavily on linking events to lineages like the Choi family, the First White Star family, and the Alberu family. So I thought, "What if Cotton was a descendant of the 'Crazy Water-Eater Sky Child?'" What if this girl, after being separated from her friends with ancient powers, met a good man and married him, and her lineage continued until Cotton was born. She was strangely similar to her ancestor, the Water-Eater Sky, and gifted with the power of water (we know nothing about her powers other than that she uses illusion). As I said, because of her resemblance to her ancestor and her talent, the God of War chose her as his Saint. After ordering her to work with the White Star as a spy, she discovered the truth about her ancestor and how she was bound and robbed of her freedom by the God of War and Chaos. Therefore, she attempted to take revenge on him and revolt against him. Because she was intelligent and cunning, unlike her ancestor, the war was unable to restrain her.
What do you think of my theory?
I've been thinking about a theory recently.
Actually, I think the White Star himself possessed the controlling aura power (i.e., it's his unique trait and ability), but when he was in his first and true body, when he lived in the Dragon Slayer Village and before he was struck by the Sherit Curse, this was his true personality. He had previously told Cale that the controlling aura power was just a shell, and that the original power was in his possession, but we never saw him use it. Not only that, but he also sought out the power of the Blood Stone, even though he possessed it. Why didn't he use it?
I'm guessing that the controlling aura personality might have been the White Star's true personality, but the Hunters came and told him about the first White Star and manipulated his memories. So, he went to Sherit Castle and brought the curse upon himself, losing all the people in his village whom he truly loved.
That's what I'm really thinking. What do you think?
Hello, how are you all? 👋 .
I want to talk about Rok Soo's past, or whether he's a reincarnation.
Who do you think will discover the truth after Choi Han, Alberu, Raon, and how ?
I have several candidates in mind.
But since Cale won't reveal it himself, how do you think his true identity will be revealed? What options are available? Will it involve a test, such as reading memories or learning about the past? Or perhaps another option?
In my opinion, the current candidates are:
First, Clopeh Ron and Beacrox On and Hong Rosalyn and Locke
Why did you choose Clopeh first? Because he's a cunning, intelligent, and malicious person. If you've noticed, he always understands Cale's mindset, especially when it comes to planning and fighting enemies, to the point that Cale has relied on him a lot lately.
clopeh is obsessed with everything related to Cale, so I bet he's researched him and every piece of information about him, including when, why, and how his personality began to change.
In the Temple arc, we saw clopeh and Rosalyn seeing 20-year-old Rok Soo and the Koreans from Earth-2. Han told clopeh and Rosalyn that they were the people Cale went to and completed his test.
Han then came back and said that in Cale's test, he had to go back to a point of despair from his past and overcome it (which I consider stupid of him), because someone as intelligent as clopeh would wonder: What past would connect Cale to people from another world? Isn't it because he's from another world, especially since clopeh has started traveling with Cale to other worlds? This would only increase his suspicions, especially since Cale knows a lot about other worlds and their civilizations, something any sane person would notice.
In the final chapters,
cale went with clopeh and the three children to the Demon Realm to search for Sui Khan, even dyeing their hair black.
Cale reminisced about his days as Kim Rok Soo, and the author has recently hinted a lot at his past, so I think we'll see a reveal or related event soon.
As for the other candidates I mentioned, rosalyne looks like Clopeh, and she's also smart.
Ron and Beacrox: We all know what happened in the Central Plains, and we're still waiting for their conversation with Cale.
On and Hong: Cale promised them he'd tell them everything since Han and Raon knew his true identity (I don't know if the author forgot this part as well or intentionally ignored it).
As for Lock, he saw the Koreans through Yugyo and noticed the similarities between them and Han, and noted a connection between them. Cale
Wait… I forgot two other candidates: Eruhaben and Cotton.
They saw WS's face without a mask with Pod, and since Cale is currently traveling between worlds, they might encounter a 20-year-old KRS and wonder about their uncanny resemblance. Let's not forget that Eruhaben heard Han calling Jung-soo and Rok-soo, and a smart person like him would connect them.
Now, tell me what you think of everything I've said?.
Hello 👋
I was thinking about how adept Cale is at lying to himself and downplaying his past. I was also thinking about the author's skill and talent at dropping hints here and there, to the point where I doubt every detail.
In the first chapter alone, the author hinted at Cale's original personality, the power of KRS (the log), the death of his parents, his miserable life, and the friends who sacrificed their lives for him—all in the first chapter. So, there's a final part that wasn't made clear, and I don't know if the author included it to deceive us or if it was just a hint like the others. In the first chapter, Cale said, "I'm an orphan and I don't have parents... I don't have much money... I don't have a friend who would sacrifice their life for me... " Finally, he said he didn't have anyone to love until death. I wondered, did KRS ever have a girlfriend or lover and then lose her?
Did she suddenly pass away like any other friend he had before the disaster? Or did he lose her like he lost Jung-soo and Soo-hyuk?
I don't know, but author Nim's style makes me doubt this theory.
.
.
There's that hint at the beginning of the novel that the world of Birth of a Hero contains all races and peoples, including insects, but we never see this race. Will they appear later?
... I also realized while rereading the novel that the author hinted at the death of those with ancient powers at the hands of the First WS and the Divine Race. This theme was brought up again in the second season... You won't believe how surprised I was 🙂😀
... I realized once again how talented and wonderful the writer Nim is, and I truly love and appreciate her.
.
.
Again, what do you think of what I said? 🤔😄
So recent novel raws spoilers say
Cale stomped on, then hammered and whipped a sentient knife into submission
Working part time at a restaurant was apparently not the only job Kim Roksoo had
He has experience working in construction
Team leader Kim Roksoo used a whip (maybe among other weapons)
Excuse me while I go scream from the top of a mountain because wtf man?! Just how many more secrets does this man have?! Although at this point nothing should surprise us anymore, not after the Kim Seung Jong reveal. And yet! Yet here we are! I'm going crazy from hearing these spoilers I need to lie down I'm sorry this is too much for my heart too much at once. Yoo Ryeo Han-nim really doesn't hold back when info bombing us. And yet the crumbs are always delicious.
To be honest, I wasn't surprised at all this time for many reasons. ▪ First, we don't know KRS's entire past yet. For example, who are his parents? What are their names? How and where did his Instant and Record abilities activate? And how did he feel when he obtained them? ▪ How did he react when he saw the death of the people in the cafe and saw the monsters for the first time? ▪ Cale always said that he worked various part-time jobs and increased his number when he was in high school. ▪ We learned that Cale was a hard-working student, a skilled cook, and worked as a waiter and was good at acting as a server. His acting skills are second to none, so who knows, maybe he participated in a drama role as an actor :) ▪ Since he became a team leader and was weak, we learned that he trained his body and definitely trained with various weapons (this isn't the first time he used a whip, he also used it in the Central Plains). ▪ In the Desperation Test, we saw how he trained his teammates to use weapons, so I bet he's good at using various weapons like a sword, pistols, spear, and many more. As I said, KRS's past is still unknown and we don't know everything about it. I'm looking forward to more and more hints from Ryuhan-nim 😭
I don't remember if I mentioned this before, but as we all know, when OG Cale acquired Rock Soo's body, he acquired his powers, the Record and the Moment. I previously thought that OG Cale's ability to go back in time was an ability he acquired because he was a descendant of the Thames family. On the other hand, OG Rock Soo acquired Cale's body. If going back in time is indeed OG Cale's ability, would we see him use it and go back in time if, for example, one of his friends died? Since they both currently possess the Moment ability, would they be able to use it at the same time if they combined their powers and fought together? There's a theory we know that Rock Soo's body, which was stolen by the WS , belongs to the Thames family. Did he acquire the Moment ability because he belongs to them? Since the Thames family inherited abilities related to time, I'd guess that the Moment ability is related to them 🤔 . What do you think of what I'm saying?
I've noticed some fans misunderstanding a certain part. When Cale stabbed his heart, everyone outside the temple saw it, but not because of Clopeh or the camera he was holding. If you remember, there was a circle or sphere divided into sections, and each section belonged to one of the people who entered the test. When Cale finished the test, the color that illuminated his section disappeared, and a video of Cale appeared in its place. Clopeh was carrying the cameras with him inside the temple and didn't install them from the outside. So everyone witnessed the stabbing because of the GoD, not Clopeh, as some people think.
This makes sense, I remember reading it that way as well.
I think Clopeh was responsible for actually disseminating the footage afterward, since none of the commoners would have had a recording device handy. And the allied leaders were likely only vigilantly observing, given the gravity of the challenge.
That's right. Clopeh originally recorded Cale's achievements because he wanted to immortalize them and put them in a museum in the free city that would be built between Mogoro and Rowan so that everyone could see it and know about Cale and his team's sacrifices.

I have this pestering theory of mine that og Cale Henituse is a double regressor. My main point of evidence being that his behavior suddenly changed on the flip of a dime when he was eight years old and started acting extremely mature. That could be the trauma, that could be him being extremely mature and intelligent already, sure, but how could he not get caught by Ron in the act? A real eight year old should be caught by the trained assassin right?
What do I mean by double regressor. I'm saying that og Cale Henituse grew up getting close to Basen, Violan, and Lily, and experienced a tragedy typical of regression stories like Basen dying or being assassinated bc his relatives, and then waking up on the day of Violan and Deruth's marriage. Deciding that, to save them, he'll ruin himself.
But then he makes it to 18 again, and a war breaks out. And then his family dies, and he can't save them like he did before.
And then... Death approaches him. He says, regress again, and you can save them.
So he does.
BUT ALSO
Totally different theory that could also exist in the same universe, even though it totally doesn't make sense, I think og!Cale could've had a regression ability that lets him go back in time (by a small amount) either when he wanted or when he dies. Cale was nobody special, remember? But he survived 20 years in that hellish war with the white star. How was that possible? He faced the white star himself, and survived. ????? Unless I'm misremembering that and he died at the age of 40 in that encounter. But wouldn't it make sense that there's a reason behind why Cale Henituse specifically was chosen to regress? Maybe because he had an ability already that would make it easier? So all the God of Death would have to do is increase the scale of his power, letting him regress incredibly far back.
I know it doesn't make sense and there's a hundred reasons why it couldn't work but look, it's just an inkling feeling I have based on a few things that have been described in the story. Like the chill Cale gets on the back of his head, I can't describe it. Just consider it my headcanon or a wild theory of mine.
I thought like you, or rather, I thought in a similar, yet different way. When Hilsman met the fake Cale, he told him: “Members of the Thames family inherit one of three types of power or abilities:
The ability to search for time (like Jour’s ability)
The ability to fight hunters
The ability to protect the family.”
From here, I told myself that since OG Cale is from the Thames family, he must have inherited a certain ability, and that ability is to travel back in time. I even guess that the current Cale can use it since he got his body.
We also have this theory, which most of us guess, that OG KRS’s body belongs to the Thames family. KRS has the ability of the moment, which is linked to time, so I guess he got it too because he descends from the Thames lineage, or that’s what I’m assuming.
Throughout the time I was reading TCF I was saying to myself that Cale only killed the white star and he even promised to kill Prince eden but he didn't. But a while ago while I was reading the war of the Whipper Kingdom against the Mogoro Empire and while Cale used the fire of destruction to destroy the golem I noticed that he burned the golems and the people who lead them so yes WS is not the only bad guy Cale killed, I really wonder if he killed one of the bad guys when he was working as a team leader in Korea
As someone who loves TCF novels, I'm addicted to Rok Soo's character and life, so I want to talk a little about him. Let's list his problems that we remember.
His body and life were stolen.
He was affected by the White Star's curse.
His parents died at a young age. It's not mentioned how old he was, but it was likely between 7 and 8.
He was taken in by a distant relative who was good at first, but changed and began treating him badly, beating and starving him to the point where he would eat filth or go hungry for days.
He was so afraid of his uncle that he was afraid to even go to the bathroom. So, being a helpless child, he resigned himself to his fate.
He received help from some people who took pity on him, so with their help, he escaped from his uncle and entered an orphanage (we still don't know how, nor do we know how long he lived with his uncle).
His life in the orphanage was the only period of peace in his life, but he later discovered that he had been the target of an assassination attempt by hunters and had been used as bait by a wanderer. He was erased His Memories 8.. He was worried and afraid of taking responsibility for his own life when he left the orphanage, so he studied hard and intended to enter college (Note: Rok Soo's goal was to enter college and build a life. He worked hard to achieve this goal, but when the world was destroyed and he joined the company with the Su duo, he changed his goal to becoming a lazy rich man.) 9.. He worked various part-time jobs (We didn't know what these jobs were except for being a waiter in a restaurant. The rest of the jobs are a mystery.)
He witnessed the disaster at the age of 20. Everyone in the restaurant was killed. He suffered from fear and hunger for 3 days. (He stayed alive by drinking rainwater that seeped through cracks.)
He was rescued and entered the shelter. We all know his suffering in the shelter, and how he witnessed everyone's death, like Grandma, Jin-tae, and others, in order to protect him and everyone else because they were weak and powerless. (I bet he gained the ability to record when he witnessed their deaths, and the first thing he recorded was the moment of their tragic deaths, so he felt guilty because of his weakness.)
He joined the company and met the Soo duo, and he had a family for the first time. (They were always losing and getting beaten because of their weakness and lack of numbers and equipment.)
Because he was physically weak, he was protected by his two friends and witnessed their deaths and the brutal deaths of his team. His arm was broken and he bled, and no one asked him to take care of himself or wipe the blood because they were focused on his explanation. (Of course, he recorded the deaths of his friends and felt guilty. He asked support to collect their bodies because he was powerless. He didn't stop explaining at the same time because his friends entrusted him with the team and what (He remained.)
He was subjected to all kinds of insults, curses, and humiliation because he didn't cry over the death of his friends and became a leader at a young age (he bowed his head to many scoundrels to protect the team and the company he was now responsible for).
Because of the curse and the death of his friends, he created a barrier between himself and his new team. He ate and took care of his health, but he couldn't sleep, take vacations, or get proper rest (we all know because the log works by itself when Rok Soo is alone and the atmosphere is quiet. I can't imagine the psychological torment he went through for over 10 years).
After the death of his friends, he activated his Instant Ability, and we all know the amount of pain he went through and the scars he received every time he used it.
He always wore long-sleeved clothing for fear that people would see his scars and be frightened or disgusted by them.
He worked hard, memorizing all records of the monsters and other things, and working like crazy to protect his team and prevent any casualties (his casualty rate on his missions is 0%).
He received numerous offers to give speeches and lectures, but none of them were successful due to the monsters that suddenly appeared or the terrorist acts that only occurred during his appearances.
The general public knew nothing about him or his accomplishments.
Finally, he was suddenly thrown into another world without his knowledge or even his opinion being asked.
Let's not forget that he was monitored since birth by Death and was watched for over 10 years by Soo duo. They laughed at his injuries while he suffered psychologically every day due to his regret and grief over losing them.
This is about his life as Kim Rok Soo. I haven't yet written about his struggles as cale Henituse. If I've forgotten anything else, please let me know so I can remember.
I think a lot of people misunderstand cale and his goal. cale, or Kim Rok Soo, didn't aim to live a lazy life. He said this himself. Ever since he was living in the orphanage, he was worried about his future and independence because he would leave the orphanage and take responsibility for his life on his own. So he studied hard and increased his part-time jobs. His goal was to enter college. Yes, that poor kid's goal was to enter college and live a normal life, but disaster struck and his dreams were shattered. 💔😔 A few years later, while fighting alongside Jung Soo, his team leader, and the rest of his teammates, he angrily declared his new goal: to live a lazy life.
However, he didn't achieve his previous or current goal. 😔 Author Nim, please let him have his happy ending and let him achieve his dream. He's suffered a lot and is still suffering. 😭💔
Hello👋 , in a previous post, I talked about some of the secrets of TCF, and now I will mention some more secrets. If we talk about worlds, the nameless world of Cale is the most mysterious. We start with the City of Puzzles. At the beginning of the novel, Hans mentioned the story of this city with the rocks and how a god abandoned them. Who is this god, and why did he abandon this particular city? Why was WS targeting it, and why did the God of Despair place his temple there? Notice that the Crying Child died in this city, building a tower of rocks every day. If you remember, I previously mentioned a theory that the Crying Child might be the God of Death. Given the enmity and hatred between Death and Despair, I see them as connected in several ways. We also have the Forbidden Zones. Of these, I'm confused about only two: The Road of No Return The Dark Forest First, the Road of No Return. This is the only area where mana is disturbed. I don't think it's just a natural phenomenon. Second, the Dark Forest We know that the first followers of WS worshipped WS there before the Great War in ancient times. And we have the monsters. Where did those monsters come from? Did they come from the Demon Realm? The Super Rock Villa blocked the road between it and the Eastern Continent, so where did they come from? We also have that pillar and the gate separating the two continents in Super Rock Villa. Finally, we have that swamp. There was a dragon corpse in it, and since it was a corpse, that dragon had been killed, and it had the controlling aura with it. And as WS said, he left it, so he definitely killed that dragon. But if he was actually in the Dark Forest, how did he not realize Super Rock's power? Was it because he didn't have one of his friends' powers? Aside from the Nameless World, we have the Temple Tests. I think some of them might be from real parallel worlds, such as the Humiliation Test. In the tests Cale took, the world would disappear or vanish when he finished the test, but in the Insult Test, the world didn't disappear. Rather, the body Cale was living in would fall and he would lose consciousness. In front of Zed, he ordered his soldiers to hold the servant's body. In front of Dodam, Han held that man's body after he fell. So here, I guessed they might be parallel worlds, perhaps Nameless Worlds 2 and 3. Here, I also think, or hope, that Dodam will acquire a trait that will enable him to search for Cale. He knows his name, and I bet he intends to search for him. And we have the child KRS. We don't know how Han finished the test. Where did he leave the child Rok Soo? Did he meet his uncle and teach him a harsh lesson? How did Han bid farewell to that child? What if Rok Soo was sad about his absence? What if Rok Soo's uncle was angry because of Han and returned to take revenge on that child? Just thinking about it drives me crazy.
Finally, we have high school student KRS. We know that Cale survived the injury with Jung Jun because he had powers. But what about the original sequence? Rok Soo must have been seriously injured. Since Jung Jun was unable to protect him against the two Hunters, they may have tampered with Rok Soo's memories at that time. I'm also guessing that Soo Hyuk happened to have witnessed that battle and obtained the cutting ability from Jung Jun at that time. Since the Hunters likely didn't die at that time, they're likely from the Five-Colored Blood family and will appear later.
. . . . That's what I remember so far. If I remember more, I'll share it. I'd love to hear your hypotheses and share your opinions
I'm also curious which God it was that abandoned Puzzle city, but the reason why White Star chose that specific place for summoning the Temple of the Sealed God is precisely because it had fallen out of grace from that God. I also find the theory about the crybaby being the God of Death interesting.
It is a widely believed theory that the Humiliation tests took place in parallel worlds instead of being illusions like the other ones. And I think we should all brace ourselves for Secretive Plotter 2.0 when that world's Choi Han and Dodam Miru come looking for Cale and find out he's got his own version of themselves but the "Cale Henituse" in their world is not exactly "Cale" and then a whole "why is it you and not me?" unfolds.
Cale in the illusion deliberately approached Choi Jung Gun because he was aware of his existence, of Nelan Barrow and of The Birth of a Hero. But Kim Roksoo in the past wouldn't have had any reason to approach him. He wouldn't have been offered to go on a date by Choi Jung Gun, he wouldn't have tagged along just to get a glimpse of Lee Soo Hyuk and Choi Jung Soo. So that scene must have unfolded a lot differently in reality than it did in the illusion. I'm dying to know what exactly happened. Whether Choi Jung Gun ended up fighting them back then. What exactly happened that Kim Roksoo's memories needed to be erased. I don't think Kim Roksoo necessarily got hurt after getting caught up inbetween their fight. Maybe he, in true Kim Roksoo fashion, ended up finding out something he shouldn't have and the hunters erased his memories. Though they don't particularly seem like nice people, so the chances of him having gotten hurt are higher.
Also, I'll bet my three cents on the two hunters who were present at the battle of the Puzzle city, and later disappeared, were Jung Yi-rang and Park So-jin who escaped from Earth 1 after tampering with Kim Roksoo's memories.
▪ I know that in the original sequence, Rok Soo wouldn't have intentionally approached Jung Jun, but you should reread those chapters. I specifically remember that Cale himself said that the test was based on what had happened in his life. That is, even if Cale didn't mention what had happened at the time, the test was based on that. Don't forget that Cale said he remembered Jung Jun's senpai always being in the library; he just didn't mention his name, which means he was actually observing Cale. Since he used him as bait in the illusion, I don't rule out the possibility that he used him as bait at the time.
Not to mention, Jun has the ability to see the threads of fate and knew that the fates of the Soo trio were intertwined. Furthermore, he knew Soo Hyuk, so it's possible that Rok Soo fell into the same predicament in the same sequence.
▪ There are the two hunters you mentioned as well. Are you referring to the men hired by Deruth? Aside from the fake Hilsman, I remember Deruth hiring three powerful men, but we never saw or heard anything about them.
▪ We also have that hunter who showed up at the academy and threatened Cale. Who exactly is he?
