A few ideas for a lesbian and or bisexual Heated Rivalry because that’s all I’ve been thinking about. I see a lot of people who suggest similar shows to heated rivalry but for queer women BUT we need more shows with intense passionate women just getting it on and going at it and not a lot of the superfluous fluff in between a lot of these other lesbian shows that are similar so. Here are my ideas for a lesbian Heated Rivalry with a similar timeline and slow burn and situation:
- this is a given but: women’s soccer specifically starting in 2010.
- tennis but I think, in how the dynamic of leagues and teammates add a lot more layers to the relationships of the characters and the steaks BUT: Women’s tennis
- Ballet (again, I think the idea of there being a league and these feuds between different players along with them dealing with the fame of it and having to come to terms with their relationship in a time where it’s not necessarily accepted, is really essential BUT it would be fun. Along with the dynamics of other possibly queer teammates)
- Women’s basketball (now thissss would hittt) it’d be heated alright. Also with this hypothetical show starting around 2012.
But these are myyyy concepts that I think would be heated ifykyk
