How do I navigate from screen to screen?
Swipe your finger in an upwards movement to go downstairs, or in a downwards movement to go upstairs.
What happens to my items when I die?
You lose your items when you die, but you get a chance to retrieve them through the revenge mechanism.
How do I choose a different character?
After you’ve unlocked the different characters, you can pick one from the start dungeon window, just choose the arrows on the list of characters to scroll through them.
How do I examine my items?
Open the stats screen and you’ll see all your items and buffs. Tap them for additional information.
How can I tell which item is best for which fight?
You’ll have to learn by experimenting and using your own strategies!
How many lives do I have?
You can die as many times as you want, but whenever you die, you start over from the beginning of the dungeon, unless you spend a Revive.
What do the items (such as potions) do?
They are items which give you a temporary or permanent boost when you tap them, and are often consumed in the process (for example, if it’s a potion). Other items will remain with you and can be used multiple times. Beware, though! Some of them might have negative effects!
What does the equipment do?
Equipment is items that are passive and change your stats (usually for better!). They are used by merely having them held in the equipment slot.
What is the purpose of the stats?
They determine your strengths on different aspects of combat.
What does the ‘magic’ stat do?
It increases your magic points bar, which is used by items, equipment, and a few other things (such as the Witch’s attack).
What does the ‘hitpoints’ stat do?
It increases your health points bar, which allows you to take more hits before dying.
What does the ‘attack’ stat do?
It increases the damage you do when you attack.
What does the ‘agility’ stat do?
It reduces the cooldown time for your attacks, allowing you to attack faster.
How can I change items/equipment?
Just tap a new item or equipment to swap your current one for the one you found, or switch them in your stash, when outside the dungeon.
Can I move left and right?
No - the game is focused on a streamlined experience that doesn’t involve movement beyond switching between rooms.
Are there any secret rooms?
No, the game is a focused combat and strategy experience, and exploration is beyond its scope.
Can I store items that I pick up?
Yes, you can keep them in your stash for safekeeping. Access it from the map menu.
Can I only hold two items at once?
You can only hold one item and one equipment at any given time, though you can store more in your stash.
How do I block?
Just tap the left side of the screen.
How do I attack?
Just tap the right side of the screen. After attacking, your attack will go on cooldown, represented by a mask covering the button. Once it’s done cooling down, you may attack again. Attempting to attack before that time will result in an increased cooldown.
How do I do a special attack?
Just hold down the right side of the screen when you’re able to attack. After a few moments, your character will start “charging”, which has different effects depending on your character.
Can I repeat the same dungeon once I have completed it?
Yes. You can always go back to previously solved dungeons by tapping them in the map.
What benefits do I get from repeating a dungeon I have already completed?
You will get gold whenever you complete a dungeon, and you can try to find the items you want by going there. You may also want to practice on an easier dungeon before moving forward.
How do I quit the game?
Just hit the home button, like any other mobile game!
How do I save the game?
You don’t have to worry about saving - the game will save automatically whenever you complete a dungeon, die, or make any changes on the map (such as buying items or putting things on the stash). However, If you quit the game and go back in, you won't be able to return to previous floors and all bonuses from shrines will be gone - best to be aware of that!
Can I store my items/equipment somewhere for later use?
Yes, you can store them in your stash, accessible from the map screen.
What are the differences between the characters?
They are each suitable for a different style of play. The Crusader is a balanced character, the Witch requires more advanced coordination (for example, her attacks consume magic, but she can recharge it with her special attack), and the Mercenary is very fast. They also have different skills to be bought at the altar. Try them all and find the one that best suits your style of play!
How does the skill system work?
Skills are permanent bonuses that you can buy for your characters. Each character has its own set of skills. As you progress through the game, you’ll find altars, which unlock the columns in the altars screen. There’s a total of three altars, and each of them has one skill in each tier, represented by a horizontal row. You can only have one skill active on each tier at any given time, but you can buy all three and redefine them at any time from the altar screen. In order to purchase skills from a given tier, you must own at least one skill from the previous tier, and that tier must have been unlocked by playing the appropriate dungeon.
What’s a Revive?
A Revive lets you get back into the game at the same point if you’re unlucky enough to die. Revives can be earned, but only a finite number of them, and only for completing secret dungeon endings .
What can I spend gold on?
Gold can be spent on in game weapons and items, as well as skills for each of your characters
What is a combo?
A combo is when you follow up an attack at exactly the right moment (while the icon is flashing) and can attack again in half the time. You have to be pretty skilled to execute these, but it gets easier with practice!
What is a riposte?
A riposte is when you hit an enemy while they are attacking you, causing double damage.
How do I beat the Devil?
He's tough, but he can be beaten. Just be patient and make sure you're prepared!
What do the keys do?
The key items are used automatically in cut-scenes to allow you to enter dungeons that you couldn't before.

What is a secret?
A secret is a special, alternate ending to a dungeon.
How do I unlock a secret?
Unlocking a secret can be achieved by any number of secret ways, including having a certain item with you to give to an NPC, finishing a level in a certain amount of time or with the right character, or beating an enemy in a certain way. Remember - they’re secrets so they’re not easy to figure out!
How do I start a mission?
Missions are automatically started as soon as you've received them. Complete the objective to get another one of the same kind.
Where do I get missions from?
The King's Messenger will give you missions once you've beaten the first dungeon. He'll give you a new mission every time you complete one.
When I complete a mission I get coins and some shields. What are the shields for?
The shields are 'Ranking Points'. Collecting enough of them allows you to go up a rank which gives you a bonus amount of gold.

We're among the 20 best Android apps this week, according to The Guardian. That makes us happy.
How do you use key items? I'm stuck on both bosses "White Whitch" and the goblin in the big robot body. I have the ice bucket and the blood necklace or whatever, but when i get to the bosses I can't kill them. I literally fought the white witch for 45 mins straight before i paused the game because it was never ending..
The key items are what you used to get in to both of those dungeons...
You have to figure out how to get the bosses to lower their defenses. Maybe use their own strength against them somehow? That's a BIG hint. ;)
Not really a question but I just wanted to say that I play this on my friends iPhone all that time and you guys are killing me with the Android wait. I know, I know, I read the other posts so I know it's coming soon but I'm dying over here.
What does restore your purchases do? Also, once you have bought something like "restore" or "replenish" or whatever its called to bring a character back from death, do u get to always have them or once they are used are they gone forever?

'Restore your purchases' allows you to get the dungeon expansion pack back if you've deleted the app and reinstalled it.
Revives can only be used once -once you use them, they're gone forever unless you earn them or buy more.
