Chapter 3's art for my fic Tender Flesh (soft to the touch, easiest to cut) on ao3!! I'm rather proud of this one despite the fact im also a bit peeved
(it only took me 2 hours despite the fact ive never drawn a heart before, also the first chapter art took me 9 hours...)
Regardless, i'd be jolly if you checked out my fic (mind the tags) and have a nice day/night!!
Side note: I have two watermarks, one for my tiktok and one for my ao3, hence the inconsistencies! :3
Late as hell considering chapter two is already posted and these artworks are supposed to be posted here BEFORE that happens but whatever..
Chapter two's art for my fanfic Tender Flesh (soft to the touch, easiest to cut) On ao3!! (you should check it out heh)
I'll also be posting chapter three's art in a sec!!
the twitter thread the artist created after this was one of the best situations i have ever seen in my whole life:
Somebody give this ignoramus a piece of actual shark skin and tell him to rub his face with it, let him find out just how “smooth” sharks really are.
Somebody did. I use it as a pillowcase because it’s so smooth.
But buddy.
Shark skin feels exactly like sandpaper. It is made up of tiny teeth-like structures called placoid scales, also known as dermal denticles. These scales point towards the tail and help to reduce friction from surrounding water when the shark swims. … In the opposite direction, it feels very rough like sandpaper.
((Here m8 https://www.floridamuseum.ufl.edu/fish/discover/sharks/basics ))
Buddy. It’s smooth. The link you sent me led to a website that described how smooth they are. I dunno, maybe you don’t know how to read?
this post is transcendent
You’re thinking of dolphins. Dolphins are the ones with smooth skin that feels like a rubber beach ball.

No, I’m thinking of sharks.

PHRASES ADDED!
BONUS!!! BIOSPHERE PERMANENTLY ALTERED!
where do i fucking start with this one
“sharks are smooth”
“getting smooth-sharked” [as shorthand for failing to recognize the bit]
Chapter one's art for my fanfic Tender Flesh (soft to the touch, easiest to cut) on Ao3!! I'm actually rather proud of it, which is good as it took me 9 hours to complete lmao
I already have chapter two's art done but Imma wait until the chapter itself is posted to post that here blegh
i love tumblr because you see someone losing their mind and you’re just like “omg me tooooo!” *reblog*

How my blades look at me after I've had a shitty day
okay i know realistically they mightve just forgotten or something, and i remember this thought being pondered before, bbut what if Cookie9 actually *did* like The Stanley Parable, like they stated on their blog, and they just thought the Narrator was annoying enough to warrant a Thumbs Down. what if they're just comically bad at coming accross like/communicating that they like something. or even better yet they can just think something is awful and annoying and unfun but still like and enjoy it
(explanation: Cookie9's Steam review states they didn't find TSP fun due to the Narrator's ramblings, but in their blog review in the Epilogue they state that they actually * enjoyed* TSP, *and* that they were disappointed in how TSP2 (Not TSPUD, note this) turned out in comparison. there's a lot of theories for this ranging for "They Just Forgot" to "Blog Cookie9 Is From The Narrator's Mind". ok i think this is fine to keep up)
(DISCLAIMER because some people always either don't think i realize this: i'm talking about the CHARACTER Cookie9 that exists in the game. i'm never talking about the real authors of the reviews PLEASE!!! I'VE HAD ENOUGH)
I liked spreading false information before it was cool.
Hiii neil, Was it intentional for Aziraphale to look all lovey-dovey at Crowley in good omens, or is that just how michael sheen looks?
I find all of these photos extremely disturbing. Michael Sheen was actually forbidden from looking at David Tennant during the shooting of Good Omens. We had people in place to make sure there was no looking of any kind. I trust you'll report any more photos like this to the proper authorities. They will know what to do with them.
i'm a michael sheen expert. this isn't cute or heartwarming. michael sheens only do this when they’re in extreme distress.
only reblog today

No but the Stanley Parable's method of making sure no one ever goes "WHEN ARE YOU MAKING MORE CONTENT" is objectively the funniest possible method. Ultra Deluxe is, in its entirety, a complete deconstruction of shitty sequels made only for more #content. You go through an ending where the Narrator pretty much looks into the camera and goes "Yeah maybe chaining myself to one story forever because fans consider it my best work was a bad idea and I should move on to other creative works and actually grow as an artist and person instead of dragging this series's dead weight forwards. Maybe letting go of a story when it's said what it needs to and had its run is healthy and good for me actually." And then you enter the epilogue where a character whose backstory is "their job was so shitty they became the fabric of the universe" is like "No you know what? FUCK the sanctity of the series. Let's make MORE Stanley Parable. We need MORE of this shit. Let's make an INFINITE amount of games. I will make The Stanley Parable 3 RIGHT now. Make a funny subtitle for it. I will add 3 to the end of this game you're currently playing. Nothing else will change except you can get an achievement now, which will make the Narrator really scared. Let's run this series into the GROUND." This does literally nothing except every time you boot up the game the number of "games" goes up by one and the background art changes (one of which involves twink adventure line) and you make a funny subtitle for the game. Objectively hilarious. What the fuck
Okay, I cannot stop thinking about a very specific moment in the Skip Button Route, so obviously I’m required to discuss it.
After being trapped in the dark for who knows how long, during the 15th skip the player finally starts to see the skip button room beginning to be reclaimed by nature.
It’s the first bright, warm, comforting feeling the player has gotten in a while, especially considering the fact that The Narrator’s crazed ramblings of “the end is never the end” happen not too long before this skip. It’s a breath of fresh air FINALLY feeling a sense of hope through the terrible experience Stanley and the player have been put through so far.
Even though The Narrator seems to be gone, the room is flooded with natural light, open to the outside world for the first time in thousands of years. The Player is led to believe that the next skip will have the room looking even more lush and comforting. So they press the button again.
And are met with arguably the most terrifying skip of the entire bunch.
There’s no more light, no more greenery, only darkness as the room falls in on itself. Inhuman, unidentifiable noises drone on in the background, noises that were later found to be some semblance of The Narrator’s being still calling out to Stanley for help. He’s long gone, but in a way he’s also still trapped there. It’s simply horrifying.
This skip is such a curveball for the game to throw at the player, and I think it’s ingenious.
