We turned Singapore into a 9-Hole Golf Course – one long drive from the first hole at the Singapore Sports Hub, to the ninth hole at the Tournament Venue, Sentosa Golf Club.

Fans were asked a series of questions related to HSBC Women’s Champions on Facebook and all they had to do was give the answer and garner the most likes on their comment to win.

To sweeten the deal, two lucky fans even had the chance to meet Lee Joon Gi LIVE.

The crescendo of the contest culminated in the first-ever roving Facebook Live activation hosted by A-List influencers Jean Danker and Carrie Wong.

We created a virtual map to help Singaporeans visualize the “Drive To The Stage”, through iconic locations in Singapore where the challenges were posted.

With Holes 1 to 5 featuring a per-location question to drive engagement, we decided to take it up a notch for Holes 6 to 9 to excite fans to participate and create talkability on-the-go.

We created the first-ever roving Facebook Live session in the all-new Jaguar F-Pace.

Two popular local personalities – Mediacorp Class 96 DJ Jean Danker and Mediacorp Artiste Carrie Wang – hosted the Facebook LIVE session in a ‘carpool karaoke’ style at the backseat of a car, posing questions to the fans, who responded real-time.

Belo Baby Product Launch

Dentsu Jayme Syfu was tasked to create a TVC for the new product offering of the Belo Essentials family, all-natural Belo Baby.

The client was so pleased with our proposals that they chose to release 2 concepts instead of 1. 'Fairies' went out as a 30s TVC aired nationwide (above) and 'Journey' (below) as a digital film.

This project was close to my heart as at the time I was working on this campaign, I recently gave birth. I was a new mom. I was doing the storyboards while I put my son to sleep. I was attending meetings with the baby. I also brought him along with me to the shoot and offline presentation.

Yes, I put pictures of my son in this project. It really did matter alot to me at the time. You’ve no idea the struggles I went through as a working mom (seriously, NO IDEA unless you were working with me back then) so this project and the memories along with it are dear to me.

Along with the TVC and online film were 3 billboards I created for the campaign. Scarlet Belo was really very cute, smart and pretty. She was easy to work with during the photoshoot and we had about 8 outfit changes! It was tough choosing the best photo to feature in the billboards.

Dee’s Going To Pop

I was having a boy for a first-born and I was happy.

Hubby and I wanted a baby boy! Some may frown upon a woman who prepares her own baby shower but when my friends said they wanted to throw me a party and that I may pick whatever theme I want, the artist in me couldn’t contain the nitpickiness of details. I was pregnant, nesting, and agitated, so I came up with the color scheme, did the layouts, made garlands & photobooth props, glued cake toppers, and cut huge letters of our baby boy’s nickname, Oro. I suddenly saw a future of baby parties made out of pure love. (Maybe I can do event styling and layouts on the side for extra buck teehee >,<)

Dreaming big starts from small things. We featured 5 SME entrepreneurs and the products and stories that grew their business.

An art direction challenge, production was a learning experience both on my part and the production team (my husband and his colleagues). In the end, we managed to find a solution to my vision.

These went out as print ads and billboards across the country.

Modess “Stop the Bulong”

To counter Whisper’s shallow switching campaign, Modess dug deep and created an insightful online film that showed how the biggest thing that stops teens from making their move in life is that “Bulong” – or that small whisper of doubt in them.

Clay Mural

Every art director in the office was tasked to create an artwork for a specific client we are servicing. Of the different types of art styles, I got clay from the drawlots and Max's Restaurant as client. I had drawn different sketches but this one was chosen by the bosses as it shows the history of the restaurant. From a mural, it was supposed to be animated, but got cut off from the client's project budget. Still, I had fun doing this mural for 1 and 1/2 months. It was probably the most challenging artwork I ever did counting all the plates I did back in college. It's huge. It's a sculpture. It's heavy. And I did it all on my own. Whew.

THE PROCESS

I sketched on a plywood to guide me in terms of proportion and size. To save on clay, I did a filling of the sculpture by doing paper mache and then covering the dried paper with paper clay so that it’s stable, hard and attached on the plywood. To give texture and further strengthen the attachment of the paper mache, I added putty around the supposed image. When everything was dry, I started mixing clay colors to get the shade I want, applied it on the mache as “skin”.

Client approached DM9 JaymeSyfu to come out with a digital campaign from their “Celebrate the Changes” regional ad campaign.

The campaign launched without ATL support. The videos have been shared, liked, reblogged, (and subbed in different languages), and viewed more than 50million times over the campaign period (and the numbers are still growing).
