Are you a vendor that enjoys going to "shows"? I am, and one thing I never thought about were what questions I should be asking. Me personally if they are not willing to answer any questions you may have, you may not want to be part of their event. Personally, I like to ask how much the fee is, and what that fee is going towards. Do I have to advertise? If so, why am I paying you for the event. I always advertise the events I am participating in, but I don't believe I should be required to. If it's an event that has been going for a year or more, What was last years attendance, every promoter should be able to answer this question + or - 10 people. What is the audience? The promoter may have a theme, but that doesn't always mean those are the people that attend. Most promoters will send out a survey to find out who attended their event, that is if they have a way to procure email/address.
