I currently work 60+ hours a week and don't always get to my asks immediately, but I do love getting them and reading them

Nah it's somewhere out there. I think it was a twitter-exclusive because it was quote-retweeting the original, so the original artist could be found easier, and I liked having separate posts per account for funsies.

i get so emotional every time i think about fanfic culture. it's just so beautiful that people are writing and anonymously posting these thousand-word stories about characters we all love and not even getting any money or public fame from it. it's literally just for the love of the game.

I think part of getting better is complete ego death. Like you’re not above setting a timer for 5 minutes and focusing on a task. You’re not above doing a very simple 3 minute workout to start. You’re not above reading for 10 minutes a day when you first get out of your reading slump, even if you used to read for hours. You’re not above starting slow and then building up to where you want to be/where you once were. What you are above is total inertia. Doing something really is better than doing nothing. Radically accept where you are, radically accept your limits, and go from there. Don’t let your ego get in the way.

I am losing my damn mind because there is a piece of artwork I did MONTHS ago that was just for funsies and inconsequential at the time, and now it legit has sooooo much more meaning now that I’ve seen the finale and has like…scarily good symbolism.

the best piece of relationship advice i ever got was “a relationship isn’t 50/50, it’s 60/40 with each party excited to be the 60”. which to me means that you should be with someone who makes you want to do more, be more, open your heart even wider. why WOULDNT you like making life easier for your loved one(s)?
