I’m used to watching callmekevin Minecraft videos where he basically just has fun the whole time working towards a stupid goal but today I checked out a couple of proper builder channels and I was like oh so that’s why people hate my fun little minecraft builds so much. They think I ought to be making the fucking Taj Mahal.
i like the phrases "it's not for me," "it's not my thing," and "i'm not the target audience" because they're the most concise way to express "this thing that you enjoy has merits but idgaf about it" without being aggressive
This is important and it is also important to practice letting people have opinions (and criticism!) without taking it personally or acting like its an attack against you. It's easy to think "I like this thing so when someone doesn't like it that means they don't like me or they think I'm wrong" and then get RSD about it and lash out.
Practice not taking opinions personally. Being polite is one thing but no one wants to feel like they have to "walk on eggshells" around you because if they say something other than "it was perfect and I loved it" you're going to blow up in their face. People will simply stop trying to engage with you.
Have no idea why I didn't consider scratch hating Caine. I can't remember if it's true or not?? It's Scratch who made Caine, right? Him hating them is sm worse if its true he Did make him. Hates him for turning out 'wrong' and destroying his replacement??? N all the obvious ofc of 'trapping' him in the circus with his coworkers. Idk if u can still call it trapping considering it was confirmed they're all copies/mind flies. Or was Scratch aware he was a copy in the circus?? Were all of them aware of that?
That would be hella cool if Scratch knew and the guilt just never made him say anything cuz how could you tell people your plan worked but backfired and now your under the control of the prototype you locked away

I already drew the two lower frames two months ago, but I couldn't figure out what to draw above. But today I had a dream and I couldn't get it out of my head

I dunno if anyone else pointed this out, but I find it nice that Gangle is more comfortable speaking and saying her opinion nowadays, basically taking on a role that isn't being a punching bag
Bugs Bunny accidentally transformed the word nimrod into a synonym for idiot because nobody got a joke where he sarcastically compared Elmer Fudd to the Biblical figure Nimrod, a mighty hunter.
He also solidified the idea of rabbits loving carrots when carrots actually carry very little nutritional value for rabbits. The funniest part of that is that the original joke was a reference to a Clark Gable film where Gable munches on a carrot, it was never meant to imply that rabbits love carrots. The Clark Gable reference would’ve been obvious to audiences in the 40s but it has been pretty much lost to time.
Im not even joking when I say I researched this, because I was writing a fic for Jax [The Amazing Digital Circus] and decided to use Nimrod. And then researched what it actually meant.
