One of the reasons I admire Hayley Williams so much is that she calls out her own mistakes. On more than one occasion she said that Miz Biz is a girl-hate-girl slut-shaming song and she doesn’t agree with the lyrics at all anymore. She doesn’t try to hide it, she says, “I’m grateful for the mention, but this song doesn’t deserve this spot.”
I don’t know it just makes me happy seeing her being so honest about growth and change and putting the empowerment of other girls before the promotion of her band’s song.
