♡ ~ I post a lot about random fandoms! ~ ♡ The World Ends With You | Kingdom Hearts | Ninjago | In Stars and Time | Undertale | Deltarune | Gachiakuta | Vampires SMP | Life Series | + Various Other Media Occasionally!
Obligatory Pinned Post. Last One Seems Insufficient.
Hi there! I'm Lyric, aka Dehliadelights, aka LyricallyLV. Dehliadelights is a username that came BEFORE I was Lyric but I like it so I never changed it. It's who I am. It's my identity.
I'm 19, Genderfluid, and a huge dork when it comes to thinks I like or find funny. I will repost the stupidest shit that I find because it makes me smile. I draw, I write, I make stupid OCs for stupid blorbo show/game/media. I gush about boobs to my friends because that's my bit.
Current hyperfixations are Kingdom Hearts, The World Ends With You, and Ninjago. There are others but those have been the main prominent ones recently due to various reasons.
You can find where else I am on my Carrd; You can also support me on Ko-fi, but you don't have to!
QNA
Q: What are your pronouns?
A: They/She/It/He in that order.
Q: So you do art? Do you do commissions?
A: Currently, I'm trying to do simple sketch commissions. You can find those on my Ko-fi, linked above.
Q: Opinion on GenAI?
A: Kill. Violently. Don't put my stuff into AI, don't make a chatbot based on me or my characters.
Q: Why did you reblog [X] with/without [Y Ship Tag]?
A: It's personal preference. I'll tag ships as I want to. If I'm reblogging something that the creator expressly said to not tag as a ship, I won't tag it as a ship because that's common sense. Otherwise, it just depends on my personal views on whether I see something as a ship or not and whether I see that particular thing as 'ship-coded' or not.
Q: What are your favorite games/shows/books/other media?
A: Kingdom Hearts, The World Ends With You, Undertale, Deltarune, OMORI, and In Stars and Time are my favorite story-driven games. Minecraft, Stardew Valley, Balatro, and Cult of the Lamb are my favorite casual games to play when I'm bored. Pokémon games and Hades/Hades II are what I'll boot up when I need a change of pace.
I don't watch a lot of shows, and most of the ones that I've watched are Anime. Ninjago is a big part of my life because it's what I grew up watching with my brother and I still actively follow it. Daybreak (A Post-Apocalyptic Netflix Show) is a good one that I've been meaning to rewatch if I get time, and I enjoy shows like That 70s Show and Married With Children. I still spite-watch Miraculous Ladybug and I fucking hate it, though season six has been better than I was expecting. As for Anime, my favorites are Madoka Magica, Hunter x Hunter, and Gachiakuta. Not a show, but a movie, Bubble is a good one on Netflix that I watched a while back, and I really enjoyed it, and I will always recommend A Silent Voice.
My favorite book series through high school, which definitely still holds the title, is the Red Queen series by Victoria Aveyard. I haven't exactly read much since I've been out of highschool, but I'll definitely be trying to do so soon enough. Also anything Rick Riordan.
I'm a big YouTube and Twitch watcher, and a lot of the time streams are what I have on in the background. Roffle is the streamer that has my highest watch streak, but I enjoy watching AbolishRegret, Legundo, GoodTimesWithScar, IGoByGraven, and StickmanSham.
Minecraft content like Hermitcraft, the Life Series, and PowCreations SMPs are some things I enjoy too. Silly block game go brrr.
Q: What music do you listen to?
A: Whatever's on, mostly! Most of the time its game soundtracks, specifically Kingdom Hearts and The World Ends With You (Yoko Shinomura and Takeharu Ishomoto my beloveds) but I have a friend who got me into music by Stomach Book and Femtanyl. Outside of that, a lot of rock/punk/alt music is a safe bet for me, as well as early 2000s/2010s pop music, considering that's what I grew up listening to.
My favorite songs from The World Ends With You's soundtrack are Long Dream, Calling, and The World is Yours.
My favorite songs from the Kingdom Hearts Soundtrack are Dearly Beloved, Riku's Theme, Enter the Darkness, Unbreakable Chains, The Other Promise, and Vector to the Heavens.
My favorite songs from Stomach Book are Anarchy!!!, Casket Kids, Heartbeat, and Nothing Special.
My favorite Femtanyl song is War Girl! in collaboration with astrid.
Q: What are your ships?
Miraculous: Lukadrien is a big one for me. It's mostly the fandom that's really got me on this agenda. That, and I feel like Marinette isn't at all in a good place for romance in her life right now, though poly might save her. Feligami and Julerose are my go-tos.
A: COMPLICATED. I'm from the era of multi-shippers. I'll try and break it down and explain my thoughts on some of the ships, sorted by fandom.
Kingdom Hearts: BIG ONE. Really depends on the day. My go-tos are VenVan, Rokushi, Namixi, Sorikai, Terraqua, and LeaIsa. My rarepairs are TT4 (Roxas/Hayner/Pence/Olette) Roxner especially, Kailette, Venlitzia, Terrisa, Venso, and Rikuroku. I'm not really uncomfortable with many of the ships, so it all depends on whether I vibe with it that day.
we gotta get back to torrent distribution, i just watched someone eat eight grand in bandwidth charges because they ran a direct-download piracy site with local file hosting through cloudflare. torrents were invented literally for this exact reason
i have a file or folder on my pc that i want to share with other people. let's call it gayshit.mp3
unfortunately gayshit.mp3 is 750mb and im not paying for discord nitro so i need another way to send it
i put it into qbittorrent and it makes a torrent file. this is essentially a very small file that points to gayshit.mp3 so other computers can find it. kinda like a treasure map
i send this tiny file to my friend, who loads it into qbittorrent. their computer takes a moment to find mine over the vast expanse of cyberspace and then (as long as my pc is running and the file is still where it should be), it gets copied from my hard drive to theirs
this is the cool part: if somebody else loads that tiny file, they can download it from both of us. if i'm offline but my friend is on, the third person can still get it. this also means that if two people have separate halves of the file, they can download the other half from each other. as long as some combination of people have the pieces between them, they can all have the whole thing.
crucially this does not require a server!!! you can just upload the file to a few people and as long as they keep it, it's still accessible. as long as somebody, somewhere is still connected, it's available forever. the only way it goes away is if everybody disconnects from it.
