Pretentious Slavic (Serbian) communist and system of some like 20 guys I don't know I haven't counted in a long time. I REALLY like countryhumans. Especially USSR countryhumans. I also really like space in case you couldn't tell. I watch the spacewalks NASA streams. I listen to every genre under the sun INCLUDING occasional (revolutionary) country. Avid disco, post punk, new wave, folk, gabber, punk, ska and march listener. God red army marches are so good.

DISCLAIMER because I don't want anyone making baseless assumptions; I do not think the USSR was sinless and heaven on Earth. I do however think that the amount of propaganda that we are fed against it is immeasurable and that it was at least 10 times less bad than people claim it was.

I also think that the strength gap is at least partially manufactured women would in fact be stronger overall if little girls were encouraged to do physically taxing games and activities and eat their fill while they’re growing vs having to constantly diet and be sedentary indoors (or god forbid do intense cardio while under-eating). The amount of adult women honestly afraid to lift weights bc they think they’ll get bulky as though bulking isn’t a full time job that athletes have to spend all their time on and anyone on earth gets shredded from just using their adult muscles for their intended purpose, girl your bone density 🥀

Hey so I hate to break it to you, but if thinking of themselves is what it takes to get these people to give a fuck, Im not going to shame them for it. Why would you shove an ally away like that? If what we need is numbers then sorry but, EVERYONE willing to help needs to be recieved with as equal a welcome as those who are doing it selflessly. Otherwise what you want isnt actual change, what you want is just public acknowledgement for being "good" or "better than"

Quite frankly someone like this who feels like theyre in real distress (regardless of the reality) is MORE likely to stick with it than the people who are in it "out of the kindness of their hearts" when the chips are down purely because they feel they have a real, tenable, risk of losing everything if they DONT stand against it.
