Queer is an identity. We will not be erased. We cannot be reduced. We will always be here.

Queer is home. Queer is power. Queer is unique in it’s history and in it’s present. Queer is both sexuality and gender identity, and queer is more than either or both of those things. Queer is belonging.

Queer is the beautiful diversity of human experiences. Queer is many loves in many ways. Queer is creating new ways to connect with each other and care for one another. Queer is many genders and none, genderlessness and gender freedom, no binaries, no rules, no hierarchies. Queer is the repurposing of power in order to empower ourselves and others rather than to oppress or marginalize.

Queer is defiance. Queer is looking at our patriarchal, cissexist, heteronormative world and daring to live our own truths on our own terms anyway.

Queer says that you are fine just the way you are, than you were already born worthy and beautiful and enough. Queer says that it is okay to desire change, to transition, to rebuild yourself in your own image.

Queer has as many definitions as there are queer people and is ever being redefined as more queer people rise. Queer belongs to me and to you. Queer is a deeply personal identity and a proudly loudly public community.

If you have found a home in the possibility and ambiguity of queer identity, I love and respect you. I am queer too, perhaps not exactly in the same way that you are, but you are my people all the same–and we are brilliant, radiant, shining, unstoppable.

Call the Midwife Googledrive IMPORTANT UPDATE & REMOVAL

Hi guys, got some sad news today.

I believe the episodes are allowed under the fair use act for research purposes but I’m not sure this argument would hold water if this got taken further. So, unfortunately, I’m going to have to take the episodes down.

Thank you all for your support in keeping the drive going but I figured it was only a matter of time before it got noticed. As of 4pm GMT Tuesday the 19th I have deleted all the episodes from the googledrives.

I hope you all understand I don’t want to get in trouble for this, it was just meant to bring some joy to the folk oversees who can’t access the episodes but I understand why they want me to take it down.

My Job

 My job is to make sure I get enough rest

To make sure I’m eating right

To make sure I’m getting enough sleep

To make sure I get to all my doctor’s appointments

To make sure I’m taking my medications

To make sure that I keep my spirits up

Most of all my job is to make sure I stay as healthy and happy as I can under the circumstances.  My job is a full time 24 hour a day, uphill battle that I endure every day.  I don’t get paid, I get humiliated with a disability check that doesn’t even pay for the necessities, so don’t judge me until you walk a day in my shoes and feel the effects of chronic pain on your body.  Then listen to someone tell you that you look fine, then try not to scream.
