Jewish woman targeted in Paris rape-robbery told: You Jews always have money

The 19-year-old woman was raped while another assailant withdrew money from one of the victims’ bank accounts at a nearby ATM.

There are no words strong enough to speak the curse that will follow these men to their graves. It is produced through sheer righteous anger.

I pray that this young woman finds peace. I pray she finds the full support of her family and community. I pray she sees human justice dealt to these men.

I pray for the safety of our cousins in France.

Before the rape, the men demanded the couple hand over their credit cards and codes, the couple told police. Citing testimony of one of the two victims, Le Parisien reported that the suspects told the couple that they shouldn’t try to pretend they don’t have money because they knew the victims were Jewish. An unnamed law enforcement source told the paper that “it is too early to tell if the victims were selected because they are Jewish.”
