The wonderful @blueberry-ash tagged me so now let's see what kinda wips I got floating around that I would name wips (as opposed to currently unfinished objects (ufos, my beloved))

The word I was given was: WRECK

which is hilarious considering that I just finished a smut oneshot (which had a bit more feelings and plot and worldbuilding than originally intended.)

Well, let's try this with my longest current wip (vampire percy au found here ) with stuff from close to far in the future of where I'm currently at.

W - What first drew him to Whitestone was the mix of dead and living resentment saturating the bloodied halls, saturating the very earth.

R - "Redemption is a thankless road."

E - Emon, for all that it attracts evil as far as he can tell, lies peaceful and still the day Jarett Howarth resigns from the army of Tal'dorei.

C - "Child," Delilah Briarwood says in a mockery of a mother's tone, "aren't you a little young to play around with such dark forces?"

K - Keyleth leaves the next morning, Vex and Trinket in tow.

And now I am suddenly extremely motivated to continue writing this^^

Let's see, if the word is DRAGON, then I'm going to use my Sigrid x Alcarto wip called distress call. It feels appropriate, considering this fic wouldn't exist if you hadn't gotten me into the Sigrid manhwa.

D - “Definitely broken, then,” Alcarto said dryly.

R - “Really?”

A - And then, a miracle happens.

G - Give him hell, Sigrid, Alcarto thought, pressing his hand against his side, trying to staunch the bleeding.

O - Oh, no.

N - Not alone in the woods where no one could hear him scream. 

Alcarto is having a terrible time and I'm reveling in his pain lmao. Thanks for tagging me in this! You're right, it's a fun game to play, and it really gets the plotbunnies running around again.

Oh boy okay, from my current wip, which hasn’t a name yet. It’s a TVD/TO time travel thing with… not quite the usual crew? And not the usual focus:

H- “How much vacation time do you think we get for thwarting like, seven ragnaroks in six weeks?”

E- Elijah wasn’t certain, and it would be very much like Kol to come up with a story that bizarre to distract from whatever he was actually doing.

A- And yet, Kol said there was a ‘family tree’ to untangle their connection to him, and there was no denying all three girls must be related to Kol somehow.

R- (cheating bc I didn’t like the one sentence that started with R in this fic when I could post this out of context instead) “On the plus side, Kol’s grandma likes all of us now, not just him, so there shouldn’t be zombies ruining Mom’s graduation this time.”

T- The three girls entered and claimed the couch, but Kol must have slipped away again because he reappeared five seconds later with a temporarily dead Finn over his shoulder.

The word for my vict- fellow writers is OMEN

Alright locking in. ONE of my current wips is called Familia Meus, though it's probably going to change and be less edgy later.

Note that these are not strictly in order.

O: One time Jayce had lent him his notebook when he'd had a spontaneous breakthrough he needed to write down in that exact moment, and Viktor remembers seeing lesson plans for much younger individuals written into some of the pages.

M: Morbid as it is, a sense of resignation creeps over him as he realizes he's probably going to die down here, all because he needed one last batch of spun wire for one of his experiments.

E: “Ekko. Benzo’s boy. He's a little too short and way too mature for his age, so everyone calls him Little Man,” Vander explains, and Jayce blinks as he thinks of the shop he usually goes to for parts.

N: No, the little worried glances he throws at her… he's worried she'll be mad about the association. Vi hasn't actually been that cold to him, surely? Surely…

Alright, now for the fun part: thinking of a word and then tagging people.
