Resources for writing.

It’s important not to rely on the internet.

It could cut out, take too long to load or in the apocalypse, just won't exist; we writers must keep on writing while hunting wild boar for survival.

So hard copies of writing resources should always be considered essential.

This is the tip of the day.

Change. It's both a hopeful word and a frightening one. But something I didn't know before I became ill was that horrible types of changes can be small not just big, like moving house or getting a promotion. Painting your living room, buying a new rug and today putting my desk back together all make my anxieties spike. I'm not really sure how to get used to small changes apart from breathing through them. And enjoying the completion of a project. I guess i just wanted to let you know something I didn't when I first became anxious. My desk is kinda a mess.

I feel after that last post I needed to post something...beautiful. I painted this a couple of years ago. It's of Joley my main character and the alien. The sunset is the wrong colour. But I was practising techniques. In my story on my alien homeworld the sunsets are pink and green. Is that a teaser???

Can you guess what I'm hiding in Mapperly abandoned train tunnels in Nottingham. Revisited chapter 17 today of Follow the Silence.
