Hello and welcome. Photographer without a camera, so I enjoy seeing other people’s art and photos until I can get one and contribute my own. I also have a little background in art and graphic design. Love photography, art, music, books, poetry, nature, animals, the outdoors, history, vintage everything, antiques, etc. I also love movies, all kinds (everything from Disney to anime to horror, and anything in between). I guess I am random when it comes to what I like and sometimes what I post depends on my mood. I have been stuck inside since 2019 for the most part because of surgery and chronic illness added to the pandemic.

Tumblr is not working so well for me today. It seems that some of you are having some issues as well. I have to get some sutures removed today also and see my grandfather at his assisted living. SUBLIME CINEMA #453 - MELANCHOLIA

The apocalypse has never looked so elegant. This movie unnerved me on some deep level - I felt it was tapping into some fear about the future that everybody carries, and only in this kind of tripped out metaphorical sense could we start to come to terms with some of it. The distortion of time and image in its opening moments is so effective, and the visions are arresting - as great as the greatest paintings. The Phantom camera here has probably never been put to better use.

The weather has been a bit nasty these last couple of days, with extreme heat and humidity as well as bad storms. That and the beginning of the nesting season have slowed things down a bit but the hummer cam still got some fun footage of curious and silly feathered beings😆 I am so thankful for them, they make me laugh every single day ❤️
