On the high Seas (details), by Michael Zeno Diemer (German, 1867-1939)
being critical is literally the best part of consuming media what are these fandoms freaks on. if i can’t find something to complain about i’ll die
Richard Wynne Keene, “Dragon holding a goose” (ca. 1850)
I’m incapable of finishing my art .....another abandoned piece.
Image Id: a painting of a dark skinned person holding a lamb, the background is non specific textured green with small abstract stars outlined in light purple, the person is wearing a white high collared dress with elbow length sleeves, round white earrings, and a white headband, their head is turned slightly down and to the left but they look slightly to the right, their skin is highlighted to look glossy, their hair is long, black, and falls over their shoulder in tight natural waves, stray hairs frame her face, they cradle a white lamb against their chest, the lamb has its front legs hooked over their arm and faces to the right. End Id)
game: here are two choices ur decision will affect the story
me:
I Spy spooky night part 2, and I’ll say that this last picture changed my life. Like every chilly early morning of my life since seeing that image has been referred back to the I spy spooky night window picture because it captured the sleepy nostalgia of a cold early morning better than anything else I’ve ever seen
Opening my commissions again as I start getting ready to go back to school. If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me!
If you can’t commission me, any sharing of this post would be very much appreciated!

y’all i truly do understand that being depressed is hard as shit but you cannot be dropping how much you hate yourself into completely unrelated conversations
What if I say it in a funny way tho
its not actually that funny, it’s actually really uncomfortable
I think it's funny as shit
It’s not it’s actually really awkward and shitty to do 😃😃
as someone who used to make a plethora of self deprecating jokes and "haha funney references to how much i hate myself" i can tell u right now not only is it awkward but it's shitty to yourself. stop with the self-deprecating humor and stuff like that, i promise it's not actually a coping mechanism it's just your depression making you feel worse about yourself.
just wrote out my tags but i dont rly wanna leave this bit of advice in there; if you struggle to simply STOP making those kind of jokes, replace them with over-exaggerated sarcasm!!! here r a few examples;
when you mess something up, instead of saying; “i hate myself” “i’m so stupid omfg” “kill me” try saying; “see this is real hot [gender] shit” “add this to the reasons im the smartest bitch around” “completely intentional. i love life”
obviously you dont believe those things about yourself yet. but, in the same way self deprecation can placebo you into hating yourself further- complimenting yourself (albeit sarcastically) can trick ur brain into Not Hating Yourself so much!! and, if youre struggling and feel you’re in a spiral you cant escape from, this could be your first ladder into recovery!! i know that this is what helped ME feel better abt myself, and its helped a lot of my friends as well
