KITBOGA LAUNCHES A NEW KIND OF BEAN

Kitboga, most known for his work in the world of scambaiting, has released new merch with a difference - cans of beans.

"Growing healthy food for my family is my passion," Kitboga explains. "Now I can provide the same gift for my fans."

The new bean, called the kit-ney bean, is a mixture of kidney bean and lima bean, and according to Kitboga, has a unique mixture of nutritious content and delicious taste. Each can comes with a complimentary pair of aviators, and all the profits are going to victims of scams.

"My family and friends have BEAN very happy with this product. That's BEAN with an A," laughs Mr. Boga as he spoons beans from a can into his mouth. "It's delicious!"

My story Hey lovelies! I’m Myles and I’m a fem transsexual man hoping to have top surgery in March.  Because of the unexpectedly early surgery date, I’m now rushing to fundraise and could really use your help.  This procedure is both life-saving and life-changing for me, so please donate if you can! Every little bit helps and I am so deeply grateful for anything you can give. Being “visibly trans” has made it very difficult to get and maintain jobs.  I’ve been let go from two jobs already for being trans, and I currently work two jobs just to cover my rent. I’ve tried hard to save money for surgery and I managed to scrape together the $500 deposit the surgeon requires.  But the $8,320 price tag for this surgery is way out of my range.   I’ve struggled with dysphoria for a long time, finding myself in psychiatric programs because of the depression and anxiety it’s caused me, and I’ve been blessed to find so much relief since starting hormones.  Recognizing myself in the mirror for the first time is an incredible experience. But I am still struggling everyday with having large breasts. I bound my chest for years, causing myself severe back pain.  Now I walk around in the world with my unbound chest and receive stares, harassment, and threats of violence nearly everywhere I go.  This surgery will help me to feel safe in public and at home in my own body.   I know it’s super cheesy but I feel like I’ve been in a little cocoon all through my transition. For me this surgery is going to help me burst out of my cocoon and finally see my wonderful butterfly self reflected in the mirror!  Please help me make this a reality by donating and by sharing this campaign far and wide!

A Fight to Survive TBI: The Story of David On the Road to Recover from Traumatic Brain Injury.

August 24, 2012 drastically changed my life. What happened that evening has left David in a vegetative coma and I am desperate to save my son’s life and future. David was pistol whipped, had his jaw broken and then his unconscious body was robbed. Though David regained consciousness, he was incoherent and rushed by ambulance to UMDNJ trauma center in Newark, New Jersey. It was there that he underwent emergency craniotomy surgery to alleviate the pressure from his swelling brain.

He is currently living in a sub-acute unit at a nursing home being fed via a gastric feeding tube. He is no longer entitled to physical therapy because he has shown no signs of progress. This means each day he lies in bed approximately 19 hours and sit in a wheelchair for 5 hours with no physical stimulation aside from being dressed and his diaper changed.

The importance behind physical therapy is that it will help him maintain his muscles and joints; to achieve his goal to attain flexibility, balance and coordination free from pain or suffering, so that he may lead a normal life again; performing all of his daily activities with minimal or no difficulty and without dependency. It can even help with his cardiopulmonary and neurological functions.

With prolonged treatment, it is possible for him to regain a large share, if not all of his mobility and it will improve his overall fitness and health.

David’s survival depends on continued physical and mental stimulation therapies which most insurances are not willing to fund long term. The lack of such treatment poses a direct threat to David’s ability to return to a life that extend beyond sitting in front of a television for hours on end in a nursing home. He deserves better.

His recovery is destined to be a long and arduous one, with no guarantees. But in order for him to have that chance, he needs, aside from a miracle, funds for aggressive physical therapy, a private neurologist and a specially designed vehicle for myself to accommodate his wheel chair.

Please join my family in our fight to get David the medical and physical treatment he needs. The amount we are now trying to raise is just the beginning for David and we could use your support. Thank you!

BBC drama Call The Midwife is to tell the story of a pair of disabled lovers forced apart and ridiculed after the woman becomes pregnant.

Disability charities yesterday welcomed the plotline, saying it highlights how far society has come since the judgmental 1950s in which the programme is set.

The episode, which is to be aired on Sunday night, will feature the characters of Sally Harper, who has Down’s syndrome, and Jacob Milligan, who has cerebral palsy.

The pair live in an institution, having been sent there by their parents – as was common at  the time.

But after they fall in love and Sally becomes pregnant, the  couple are separated and Sally faces ridicule from her mother and father.

The episode deals with the prejudice and stigma she would have experienced.

Call The Midwife is shown on BBC One before the nine o’clock watershed, and in the past storylines featuring abortion, incest and infidelity have shocked viewers. But yesterday campaigners welcomed the inclusion of disability and love as a theme.

The character of Sally is played by Sarah Gordy, and Jacob by Colin Young. Both actors have the disability that they portray on screen.

Hi! I’m Zoë Lapin of Cleveland, Ohio. I’m a queer transwoman of color and I am a visible voice and diligent activist in the LGBTQ community in Cleveland. (For now, I do plan on moving out of here this year).

I am often conducting lectures and forums focused on the experiences of transwomen of color, the culture and theories of oppression as a whole, and how intersectional oppression is an actual phenomenon that people don’t often consider. I have a degree in art, chemistry, and philosophy and I am the entertainer director at one of the largest LGBT nightclubs in the region. I am also widely considered one of the best DJs in the area. I am also a published photographer, specializing in fashion editorial, lifestyle, and photojournalism.

This is a really great thing. I hope this really shines more light to the work of myself and the many others in our community.
