Time to create a little organized table of things and tags
INFO
Blog not for children! Nothing graphic in sexual terms, there could be gore though if I ever end up drawing it and posting.
Biggest general warnings would be cursing and occasional mild raunchy humor, big maybe on that last one. Anything else that's less common will have content/trigger warning tags on the post itself so you can filter them, and have the correct content label/s.

Although not going by the term "asexual" yet, asexuality was spoken about alongside homosexuality as far back as the 1890s. Asexual history is just as vital to queer history as any other term and I'm so tired of watching us being treated like a new thing
“Kanny where did you get all these medieval weapons” well you see I defeated the Duke of Worsestkingshireton-upon-avon in glorious battle and claimed his lands as my own and I broke into his castle armory and now I’ve got all these cool toys to use on bigots. I do this every Monday.
PSA the "si" in shared YouTube links stand for Seal Indicator. This means there is a nefarious seal tracking your information and will give YouTube your data in exchange for fish. Please remove the part after "?si=" before you click on it or share the link with others because it is a tracking token!
as someone with a speech impediment, all of the people saying that only one type of stuttering is valid are wrong.
stuttering CAN look like this: "t-this is a-an example s-s-sentence"
OR this: "this-this is an example sen-sentence."
OR this: "t-t-t-th-..t-ttttthis is an example sentence."
OR this: "this is, uhm, an example, uh, sentence."
OR this: "this is an example sssssss-sentence."
OR this: "this is an examp-...this an example sentence."
sometimes the sentence won't even come out of your mouth at all.
there are probably many examples i'm forgetting, but that's the point! it usually is a mix of a few of these, but some people do one of them more often than others! some people with speech impediments have certain sounds that they almost consistently have trouble with (for me it's "st").
people with speech impediments also rarely-if ever-stutter whilst they're singing or whispering.
most importantly!!!! people with speech impediments are capable of saying a sentence without stuttering!! it can just be a gamble sometimes.
and if more people could portray the frustration that comes with stuttering and not being able to get words out, i'd be a very happy girl.
(fun fact: sometimes when my mouth won't let me say what i want to say, i get so annoyed that i just yell or grumble out "WORDS.")
Small doodles based off @ctrl-alt-del-au and their AU! I know Caine wears his ringmaster outfit but I thought it'd be funny and a bit fitting if he had a carnival barker outfit.
Also sorry Gangle nation I need to learn how to draw her more I will lock in I swear
I want you guys to know this shit not only makes my life better and easier, and consequently makes me like you more, but WAY MORE IMPORTANTLY could literally save someone's life.
Yes, eye strain sucks. Yes migraines are painful. Yes seizures are miserable. But every single epileptic seizure, to a very small but very much not zero degree, can just kill you. Seizures are horrible and dangerous - with aspiration and head trauma to take into account as well. Even if it's "not that much flashing" or it's "not that long" or "it's only a seizure" or whatever kind of excuse you may want to make - PLEASE think about photosensitive users when you interact with media
Anything with
Rapid change between different colors
Rapid change between light and dark frames
Anything that causes the value of the screen to change very majorly very quickly
Anything very color intensive/stressful for the eyes
Needs to be tagged with things like "flashing lights" "strobing" "eye strain" etc - NOT tags such as "photosensitive" or "epilepsy" bc we use those tags for our community
if you want to help d/hoh people feel more comfortable on the internet you can caption when a video has no audio or has just music as audio. when I'm not actively listening to audio I feel very uncomfortable reblogging videos that don't have captions or a transcript because sometimes an innocent looking video will have voice over that I strongly disagree with.
I have to question "is this cute cat video just a cute cat or is more going on here?"
transcripts and captions for videos that have voice over are great and important but indicating that something doesn't have voice over is important too.
