“Remind me to never wear heels again.” Willow sighed as she rubbed her sore feet. Deep down she’s cursing herself for not taking an extra pair of comfortable shoes with her. “I don’t even want to think about walking home right now.” Home was too close to consider spending money in a taxi, hazel eyes scanning the street. “At least it’s kind of nice out…right?”
“NEVER WEAR heels again,” Jack parroted playfully, shooting her a grin. He’d stopped to make sure Willow was alright. Much to his thanks, she was both alright and coherent. “where do you live?” Jack asked, as he squatted down beside her. “if it hurts that bad you might’ve sprained your ankle. I could give you a ride?” It was nice, but he wasn’t particularly keen on piggybacking a young woman all the way home.
