I am truly hoping that this will be the last time I have to ask for assistance online as more information on my condition has come to light.
I still have no source of income after being fired for attendance issues due to severe pain in my hip. I’ve been denied unemployment multiple times as well as disability. Thankfully, I was finally officially diagnosed with a CAM lesion, as seen on my x-ray. This is both good and bad news. I’m hopeful this will be sufficient evidence in order to qualify for unemployment.
In the meantime, my rheumatologist has stressed that I should very much not be working for another six months. I am currently awaiting an MRI to determine if I need to receive surgery and what our next steps look like. In addition, I have oral surgery coming up.
My living situation is very poor. My partner and I are currently living with their abusive stepfather who has allowed the house to become infested with flies and continues to fail to permanently get rid of them.
We have been surviving almost entirely off of the generosity of others, and for that I am so eternally grateful for every single donation, share, and any other form of support anyone here has given us. I have a glimmer of hope that I will be able to support myself in the future, but for now, my partner and I are still in urgent need of help with bills, gas, food, other living expenses, etc.
