Pain is very extreme today. I'm not really sure why. For the most part my fractured foot hasn't really ever been that painful(except for like the day or two right after it happened). But for some reason it has been absolutely excruciating today and nothing is helping. Kinda just want to curl up and sleep and ignore the world but I can't seem to get any sleep either. Been like this since about 4am(it's nearly 7pm now). I don't know what's different or what happened but it's been extremely hard today. 😞

I wanted to share this comment I got, and I hope @dollie-disaster-darling will be ok with me doing so. I woke back up after less than 2hrs sleep and saw this. Had a quick little breakdown at 5am after reading it. I think this is such a powerful and important point of view, that is hard to see when you're in the middle of it all.

Some days are just hard. Some days are just painful. I feel like this applies to both physical and emotional pain. Some days are just hard, and it's ok. It's hard to see that. It's hard to feel like it's ok when you're suffering, but it IS ok.

Some days are just hard and you are not a failure or a burden or wrong for struggling with it. I think this beautiful comment is so important and I'm so thankful for receiving it. Not only as a reminder that we should be kind to ourselves when a hard day comes, but also to deal more kindly with others too. Because you never know if they are in the middle of their own very hard day.

Our rescue kitten has grown up in this little bubble with a dog who is very well trained and also a giant coward. Result? This cat now knows no fear of dogs or anything else, and constantly bullies her. If she ever escapes or something and encounters an actual dog she's going to get her butt kicked. I love our little idiot tho.
