i've seen ppl say namping's acting is bad in khemjira and it's always an instant block on sight. "all he can do is cry and be pitiful and he doesn't even try to survive" I'm afraid that's exactly how khem is in the novel. namping is quite opposite irl and he's nailing his acting. also pmo when ppl say khem is annoying too bc yeah sure he did some embarrassing things but you also have to remember that he was 20. he grew up knowing he was going to die. he's kinda suicidal. he misses his mom. it's his first time crushing on someone and the guy is 1) being an asshole to him 2) keeps giving him mixed signals that are beyond imagination. and despite all the haunting and threats and mistreatment he remains kind and believes everyone has kindness within them. HE WAS 20. from the start he wasn't supposed to make all the right decisions.
