I’m writing a stetopher fanfic I just love these tragic little gay men.

"I know being gay is something you can barely wrap your brain around already,” Peter grabs Chris’ chin and tilts his head so he can make eye contact, “but I don’t think it’ll break you to introduce you to the wonderful world of polyamory.”

Peter raises his brows when Chris’ face falls in shock. “Maybe I miscalculated.”

Chris takes a moment to recalibrate and says incredulously, “You mean like those cult leaders that have a ton of wives, Peter? You’re pulling your supervillain bullshit again. Stop it, this is serious.”

Peter drops the hand on his chin and looks at the ceiling like he’s asking for guidance or patience or something. Which Chris finds hilarious because he has it on good authority that he doesn’t believe anything has power over him let alone some god.

“Sweetheart…” he takes a long suffering breath, “that’s polygamy.”
