Hola y'all

Welcome to my Tumblr blog!

For those who don't know me; my name is Dexter Kronos and I'm a member of the Rainimator Production Team, but otherwise I'm no-one too spectacular.

I am Australian, pronouns are in the page top, and I'm obsessed with archiving as much of my fandoms as possible.

I mainly do renders in Blender or Cinema4D with use of Minecraft Rigs, or generalized artworks on Krita, though I'm still an amateur on the latter. I may eventually do Minecraft Skin commissions via Ko-Fi but for now I'm focused on finding a job.

Advanced Warning: I swear. Alot. For other countries' standards. It's just the basic ones though.

Fandoms

My main fandoms of lurking will be the Rainimator (obviously), The Magnus Archives/Protocols, Twenty One Pilots & The Mechanisms.

My side interest fandoms (less focused) are Gravity Falls, The Owl House, Amphibia, My Little Pony (G4 & G5), Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail (even though I quit the game lol), Slime Rancher, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, The Amazing Digital Circus & Murder Drones.

These will update as time goes on.

Stuff on the Blog

Chiefly, I do artwork of different Eyes belonging to characters. You can find these under the Eye Lady tag (#may as well call me the eye lady)

Secondly, I have a special tag for my own TMA x Own Series AU vein called the Mag-Ruin AU (#Mag-Ruin AU), with the AU centered around grabbing my main work and my current hyperfixation and smashing them together in a believable way. It stars Jonathan Sims (Leitner Hunter/Ouroboros), Martin Blackwood (Beloved of The Eye), "James & the Stoker Twins" (Paranormal P.I's), Simone Dalton (Lachesis' Disciple; OC) and the mysterious "Ani" ("The Mystery from Down Under" [self-proclaimed]; OC). Most of my AO3 fics will be under this tag.

I am also a burgeoning TØP nut cooking an AU, so keep with all my Twenty One Pliots (#twenty one pilots / #twenty øne piløts) renders and eventual story updates.

Fourthly, I do a lot of Minecraft Texture Designs (#dexter kronos textures). This is my secondary job under Rainimator but I like to think of it as a prime skill of mine. I am willing to do commissions of it in the future, but for now, just enjoy cruising through.

For any random ass rants I will usually add a tag denoting both the Dexter identity and the Eye Lady moniker (#dexter kronos/eye lady brainwaves) and for irl shenanigns or post "scheduling" I will use an updates tag (#dexter kronos/eye lady updates)

I am once again begging people to realize that AI checker doesn’t work. it’s never worked. it’s notoriously known to have flagged human-made works as AI and AI-generated works as human-made. and by feeding it people’s works, you are feeding more works to AI, because apparently the machine itself is AI.

the only thing AI checker does is harm genuine artists and people in general too.

Oh yeah unrelated to anything, I finally got my Special Ability (ADHD) accepted into the canon (diagnosed) so I'll have brief periods of plot armor in (meds) which shall be signalled by an increase in the animation budget (more art for here coming soon).

not to bring ai into everything, but stopmotion is the one form of animation ai DEFINITELY cannot replace so it was nice to see them uplifting real artists with this mv. it's one of my fave art forms as well so they're out here highlighting time-consuming and delicate art forms in the era of fast-paced slop. shout out to tobias gundorff!!! he did an amazing job with the mv

First Drag Path jumpscare on my online shuffle haha, it's lovely to have it in the mess of songs I like to listen to online-only.

Also lowkey, I like both of them equally. One feels like a Daytime Drag Path, the other a Nighttime Drag Path. They mirror each other nicely.

realizing that every fanon ending is canon since it’s a cycle.

there’s a cycle where torch took the cloak, a cycle where torchbearer went back for bishop clancy, a cycle where they finally broke it.

in one cycle clancybearer got married before the events of paladin, in another they tried to completely ignore the city and live their lives in trench.

in another cycle clancy retains all the memories of the past cycles and escapes only for torch.

in another clancy became a bishop but torch didn’t leave him.

it’s like miku or the spiderverse. they put “and you” because our interpretations are canon in their own way, in their own cycles.

each lore fanfic, each piece of fanart, it’s all canon in its own way, in its own cycle.

we’re apart of the story for a reason. all of our interpretations are canon in their own way.

we’re all technically clancy, and sometimes our torchbearer is our best friend or a lover, hence why there’s so much chemistry between clancy and torchbearer.

Anyone got any fics where the events of City Walls are positive so I can recover?

I get that the whole cycle thing is the main point and I get why they did it but i really just want a comfort fic. Clancybearer or not I don't mind.

"Still Now, You Believe In My Somehow" by @xproskeith is a really good one; it's not in the same cycle as the MV's mind you but it still has a happier end.

"can you find me? (you found me)" by @grand-theft-autumn is also really good too, around the same length as "Still Now" too. References to Drag Path are the driving force behind it from what I could tell.
