UM WOW!! I havenāt been on tumblr for a while, in part because Iāve been working on releasing my first two collections! Above is the DC collection (minus Harley Quinn and the special edition Wondy variations) and Iāve also released an Avengers collection. So thank you everyone for the love, thatās amazing!! Also just want to add: Looking through all the tags is ADORABLE!! It seriously means so much that so many of you love my work! I came up with the idea for the DC collection over a year and a half ago, so it's been a long time between planning and finally releasing them for sale. I've had so much wonderful support and encouragement from my friends without whom I could never have made this happen. Still, there's always that fear that people just won't like what I've designed. My designs are meant to be subtle, to take inspiration from character designs, but create garments that can be worn every day and NOT look costumey. Though of course, there is the option to coordinate your look and do a vintage style version of your character. But really, I wanted to create garments for geeky women like me, who want something other than printed leggings, geeky tees, and bold licensed prints (not that there is anything wrong with those mind you, I have all of these things in my wardrobe and I LOVE them!). They say that you should 'write what you know', well, I design what I know and love, and that is vintage style, geeky, everyday clothing! I really can't say enough how much it means to see that so many others appreciate my designs too! It keeps me designing and creating and I can't WAIT to produce more geeky collections for all the wonderful ladies out in geek land <3 By the way, this is me, wearing the very first prototype for this collection. I've been wearing and washing this since April, and it still looks almost new, so I stand by my workmanship!
