New Courage the Cowardly Dog Episode? WTF?
So, I took a nap after work and I think I dream of a new episode for Courage the Cowardly Dog. I’m not sure what to do with it and didn’t really have any other place to put it and if you want to share it on other sites, feel free. Just make sure you give credit because 1. Obviously, my dream 2. I really think it needs to be shared. So here it goes:
We first see Courage, Muriel, and Eustace needing to move to a trailer in town because their house is being worked on (for something). One of the workers remains at the house while the others leave for lunch. (This is where we begin seeing the story in the worker’s POV) While he is there, there is a knock on the door and this man appears. It isn’t until he steps in does he see what’s wrong with the visitor. When the man turns around, he appears as a body coffin-shaped with half of the coffin as wire worked and the other ‘filled in’. But it’s patchworked and like a checkerboard. It’s not one side is wire and the other is full. (not sure if that explained it well). Suddenly, the visitor forms himself into a real man and chats with the worker about a ‘coffin’ he once found buried in his backyard. He tells his tale and the worker catches on that he was tricked into this coffin and he must spend the rest of his life inside it until he can find another to take his place. All the while his ‘predecessor’ was wanting his house and making it come alive.
At first, the visitor doesn’t make any move and chats with the worker and really just says how he just wants to move on and wanted to find some solace before he passed away. Someone to talk to. BUT, as the worker is getting ready to leave the house, the visitor keeps walking towards him and begins a pursuit while the worker begins running. Suddenly, he gets trapped in a corner and sees the visitor once more transform into his patchwork coffin and open up to show spikes inside it. It’s an Iron Maiden but there is no body inside it, just a skeleton that falls out. When he looks back up, all he sees are the spikes and suddenly he is trapped inside it.
(Back to normal POV) We see the spirit of the worker walking into town (looking like a normal ghost) along with the spirit of the visitor and another ghost that was before him. In the trailer park, we see Courage, Muriel, and Eustace going crazy by being in the park (for no real apparent reason but they lost their minds. We don’t know why). When they finally arrive home, appearing to be sane again, they find the wire-patchwork coffin in the living room. Eustace hates it and decides to bury it. As we see the last few piles of dirt thrown on, we hear a fate sound of a someone saying: “One should know, burying shall not work. For it will only rise again. To relieve one self on the coffin, it must trick another in its place.”
Of course, Eustace just replies ‘yeah, yeah, yeah,’. He enters the house and we suddenly see the chicken coop come alive and the haunting starts again. The End.
So what do you think? Yeah, I woke up from my nap and had to write this out. Is it just me, or was this fucking crazy as hell and ultimately terrifying? Especially since we are seeing this in the worker’s view point mostly and seeing his world turn dark with spikes? I’m really not sure where the story came from. The only thing I did different was have Sonic strawberr sweet tea for the first time.
