Eddie meets Buck’s eyes for a split second then bends down to tighten his shoe laces. “I wouldn’t.” Chim winces. “Yeah, I guess you don’t have the best track record. Maybe not the best person to ask.” Eddie rolls his eyes as he straightens back up again. “Hilarious. I meant if I was dating Buck, I wouldn’t ever break up with him.” The dead silence he’s met with and Chim’s shit eating grin is enough to have Eddie quickly replay his words and realize exactly what he just implied. OR Eddie thinks he may have revealed too much about his feelings for Buck. Buck is oblivious. Everyone else, however, is not.
