Just like how people who really love reading novels will often have a go at writing themselves, you’ll often find a few games hobbyists with projects of their own! So recently, we at Dice Roll, were delighted to be do our bit to help initiate the Glasgow Game Lab!
It was mainly aimed at helping amateur game designers in Glasgow advancing individual and collective projects through organising test-plays and feedback sessions, pitching tables, talks and workshops.
It came about through through a collection of friends (including a few of us at Dice Roll) personally having home-design games badly in need of further play and refinement and not being able to find local focus group for help and encouragement.
Glasgow Game Lab is designed to be a dedicated shared resource for would-be game designers in Glasgow~ maybe even help each other eventually publish.
Please add yourself if your interested, as a designer or even just a play-tester, and add anyone you think might be into it too!
