I hope the show went there and did the power transfer like they did with Vision powers transfer between Doyle and Cordy on Angel.

Still, Hope realizes that Lizzie didn't just heal her but gave her powers too. Lizzie didn't just siphon magic, she gave away some of her powers too.

And this is why I LOVE that Lizzie broke the sire bond because this is Lizzie point-blank choosing to side with Hope, choosing Hope for the rest of their immortal life.

Lizzie made a choice and affirmed this choice to Hope. "You and I are bonded for life."

And Hope gets what Lizzie is saying here, she's responding to what Hope confided to her about what she's most afraid of: being alone. Lizzie reaffirmed this to Hope twice in this episode when Ken tried to throw it in Hope's face that she was alone but she was the first one to stand beside Hope and remind her from this moment onwards, Hope Mikaelson will never be alone. By Lizzie's own choosing and free will.

This confidence and the powers that Lizzie bestowed on Hope have helped Hope level up in the power levels of a god. (I AM VINDICATED).

(Imagine if we had a whole season to this god plotline instead of speedrunning it because the writers know they might not get a renewal).

Plus, we all know to a Mikaelson a vow of being bonded with them for their immortal life practically means they're Mikaelson Married Now. Sorry, I don't make the rules.

And then can we admire Cleo Sowande, Queen, coming in clutch with her beautiful coat?

Look at the yellow of Hope's eyes, it's similar to the yellow of Cleo's Fury magic and Ken | Zeus's lightning magic. And look at how Cleo stabbed the spear through Ken, in an almost mirror image of how Ken | Zeus impaled Lizzie on the gates of Salvatore school.

I gotta take a minute to address the cancellation of Legacies AND the END of the whole TVD universe..

first Josie gets shitty writing then Kaylee leaves and Plec writes her out. At least she’s not dead but apparently needs to get her shit together

then all of the sudden after a GREAT season 4 Hope gets a shitty ending, which we know Plec had to be petty and ruin the character because Danielle wanted to move on. Personally I think Danielle always tried to give her two cents about Hope and that’s why Plec wrote her to be portrayed as weak in most of Legacies. Yes, she is Plec’s character but the actor is just as significant to their own character.

This is reminding me a lot of the mistreatment Kat had gone through while on TVD. Bonnie was the heroine EVERY TIME but she was so under appreciated and went through hell over and over for NO reason; Probably Danielle complains Hope is weak for being the almighty tribrid, Plec doesn’t give a shit, Danielle decides to leave, Plec gives her an awful ending.

Hope goes against gods THATS a big deal but there were no major fight scenes, never a big blast of the first witch Michaelson power, AND NOTHING to do with her wolf side. Like you’re telling me that Hope is not going to fuck up a god with her claws or AT LEAST threaten it. Her bite is venomous to vampires and even if it wouldn’t poison a god, if she bit him with her fangs that would still hurt. I like that Hope and Lizzie were a team but it was very out of character for there to even be an opportunity for Aurora to sacrifice herself for Hope.

It’s like ALL Europeans! People show up to my job at like 11AM saying “I need to get to the city for my flight by 3, what can I see between now and then?” and I get to tell them “Well if you leave RIGHT NOW you MIGHT be able to make your flight at 3″ and watch them flap around like a dying fish.

I had a dude say he was hoping to take a day trip to Mt Rushmore after doing the main famous thing at my park, and he got PISSED when I told him that it was a 17 hour round trip. “That’s unacceptable!” he said, like we had just moved it further a week earlier.

A family once stopped in and said they were trying to get to a random small town in Missouri and were flabbergasted when I said that I had never heard of it, and that I had no way of looking up where it was, and basically just giving them directions to get to the city due east of where we were so they could go to the library and print out directions (they also never like that we don’t have wide ranging cell service. We got working internet last summer. This isn’t news.)

Size culture shock is such a huge thing. I’m from Northern Ireland so for the longest time the relatively small distance I could travel felt like “the most” (even now a trip to Bangor or Derry feels massive even though it’s like, and hour/hour thirty tops).

Even when I did go somewhere else as a kid, since the structure of a trip would be dictated by my parents or like, teachers n stuff, nothing really felt “big”.

But for uni I lived in England (I know) and even that felt so much more massive than anything I was used to. I was in a shopping center that I feel could comfortably house most of Belfast city centre.

So I can’t even beging to imagine how overwhelmed I’ll be if I ever go to like, mainland Europe again, or the states 😵

I’m from Phoenix, AZ. When I was a kid we used to drive to Los Angeles to see my grandparents 1-2 times each year, so in my brain LA is fairly close. Unbearably dull drive on account of the scenery, but close. It’s about 6 hours.

A few years ago I did a little road trip around Norway and averaged about 2-3 hours of driving most days. When I would mention this to Norwegians, multiple times they looked completely aghast and asked me if I was okay. Wasn’t I tired, how can I stand that much car time?

I didn’t know how to explain to them that I would travel 3 hours just for food I’m craving.

Honestly, the size culture can be applied to the US, too. The difference in understanding of space coming from the mid-Atlantic region where you can reasonably drive through like……10 states in a day if you’re committed and 5 no problem is so different than in the Midwest where getting to the edge of the next state over could take 12+ hours.
