Fiber Advent Calendar. Faseradventkalender <3
I've cast on for the Loop shawl. The yarn has been in my stash since 2009.
I have two bags filled with Icelandic roving. As a sample I am spinning it long draw. Thinking about a 2-ply or 3-ply, so at least one more bobbin to go.

Heute geht es um Termine mit und ohne Wolle, Nepalhilfe, Socken von der Spitze zum BĂŒndchen und warum Tee und Stricken manchmal eine unheilvolle Allianz eingehen.
In April 2015, Nepal was hit hard by a devastating earthquake that brought down buildings and killed and injured thousands of people. Chris Marquardt and Monika Andrae have visited and photographed the people and places of Kathmandu, Patan, Bhakthapur and other areas in and around Nepal from 2009 to 2014. Areas that were hit hard by the earthquake.

Meet Fivla and Vitamin, an awesomely cute pair of Shetland ponies dressed in custom cardigan sweaters as part of a project by Scotlandâs national tourist board at VisitScotland for Year of Natural Scotland 2013, a year-long celebration of their wonderful country.Â
The Shetland Pony ambassadors from our photos come courtesy of Thordale Shetland Stud Centre, and are wearing jumpers made of Shetland wool created by local Shetland knitter Doreen Brown, of Shetland Collection.
Rob McDougall photographed the jumper-wearing ponies in a variety of beautiful Scottish landscapes. Head over to the VisitScotland blog to view more photos. Weâve always wanted to visit Scotland, but the prospect of visiting Shetland ponies wearing people clothes has us ready to start shopping for plane tickets right away.

Working on take five socks from some of my ugliest sock yarn leftovers. Somehow I do like the result. :-) Sock one is finished. One more to go.
I have finally finished the yarn from the Sweetgeorgia Yarns June Fiber Club colorway. It resulted in 413 yards of fingering weight 3-ply.Â
The fiber was gorgeous as always ... super fluffy, a pleasure to work with and the color did not bleed a bit. SGY fiber is amazing.
Had to take some glamour shots ;-)
Gift knitting in progress.
Time to shoot some of my stash! :-)
