Eat everyday like your life depended on it.
Good advice from Marilu Henner. She is turning 61 this year and is as radiant as ever. Every morsel you put into your mouth has a physical consequence on your body whether you like it or not.
Remember to fill your plate with the rainbow every single meal. Brown food is dull and boring and most of the time just a filler with no substance.
Drink a minimum of eight glasses of water a day. Our bodies are starving for hydration because the majority of us do not drink anything but tea and coffee and soft drinks all day long.
Food combining is an old technique but it enables us to get the most from our diet in needed nutrients.
Fruits should be eaten alone
Proteins and starches can only be paired together when there is a legume or vegetable bridge paired with them.
Proteins can be eaten with all vegetable combinations together.
No sugar or sugar substitutes as they will age your body very quickly.
Try to eliminate caffeine from your diet, your body does not need it.
Exercise a minimum of 30 minutes a day to get your blood flowing. For some that could be just moving around the house, but you need to keep moving otherwise those muscles including your heart will start to atrophy and will not work well later on when we need them too.
