Flour Fiascos Major Antagonists
These are the major antagonists of Flour Fiascos: Harrison, Monique, and Cashwell. These people both are a challenge to not only the bakery of Dulce Delights, but Maria's general life.
Name: Harrison Blake Huxley
Ethnicity: English, Welsh, & Scots-Irish
Religion: Atheist (Ex-Baptist)
Description: Harrison is an egotistical, bigoted, and prejudiced man, who is the main antagonist of the show. During their time in high school, he was in a relationship with Maria, however during that summer things went south. Maria ghosted him out of nowhere and Harrison was forever left heartbroken.
Since then, Harrison has made it his mission to harass Maria and her friends. He frequently visits the bakery with the sole intention is to get her back, while annoying everyone in the process. Despite being a very intelligent man, Harrison is delusional in the fact that he believes if he repeats something, Maria will eventually crack, but Maria isn’t that kind of girl. Now, Harrison also plays dirty, he throws slurs, uses stereotypes to belittle people, etc. Now, Harrison takes pride in being overly-antagonistic, trying to have as much as possible, however this macho persona cuts off every form of genuine connection in his life. Really showcasing how lonely Harrison is and how much of it is his fault.
Additional Information: Harrison despite calling other people degenerates and a massive hypocrite… and degenerate. He has literally created a chatbot that simulates his scenario on if he and Maria were still together and these go back years. Harrison wears his fedora not because he’s a fat Redditor, but more because it gives him power and presents an image of a high-class man who you should always take seriously.
Name: Monique Renée Delva-Deschamps
Religion: Roman Catholic Sexuality: Heterosexual
Description: Monique Renee Delva-Deschamps is Maria's business rival and a minor antagonist in the series. She owns a restaurant across the street, which produces a higher income compared to Dulce Delights. Her restaurant has a broader theme and is much more inviting for the average person. Despite being more successful, she is way more petty and determined to flex on Maria through Maria’s POV. Whether that be her restaurant, stable relationship, her height, her sexiness, her not being an alcoholic, etc. This is ironic, as Monique has a caffeine addiction and gambling addiction caused by her overconfidence.
Now, the things that Maria is better than her at, are debatable. Maria may be smarter than her and have more awareness over her public image compared to her, but there are certain moments where it’s equal.
Name: Cashwell Calvin Crawley
Ethnicity: English, Welsh, & Scots-Irish
Description: Cashwell Calvin Crawley is the proprietor of the Dulce Delights bakery, and a deeply disturbed man who threatens Maria with murder or some type of extreme punishment if she doesn’t pay her rent. Now, it’s debatable if Cashwell has actually killed a tenant, speaking of murder, he definitely gives off those vibes. He’s a 42-year-old virgin who lives by himself and never had kids, a wife, or even a girlfriend. However, Cashwell’s mind convinces itself, he did in fact commit that horrible act, but no… Now, that doesn’t mean Cashwell won’t actually do something to you. If he agrees to a duel, he will be there, but he gets away with it every time because he can just bribe the police, cause he’s rich.
Additional Information: In the setting of the series taking place in a town near Atlanta, Cashwell stands out as one of the few characters who doesn’t live in Caprenton, he resides in Savannah and only visits Carpenton. Additionally, he also has a stutter, which he has been trying to get rid of with his personal therapist. About his personal life, the Crawley Family because of the money they inherited from slavery, Cashwell ain’t too keen on bringing that up.
