Gemini "Gem" Stone is a very determined, and sometimes harsh girl who asserts dominance in the friend group. She cares deeply for her friend's, and if very protective of them, especially of Tina.

Gem wears a facade of confidence around her friends, when in reality she has enough social anxiety to keep her from standing up for herself.
Coming from a family with four younger brothers, she doesn't get much space, time or stuff for herself. So she opts to spending as much time outside as she can.
Let's hope she finds real courage soon.
She's gonna need it.

Another year, another excuse to draw this old trend
Just realised I only draw myself in my silly goofy art style instead of my main one-
I actually drew one at the beginning of 2025, but never posted it- So I'm doing it now!
(You may notice I didn't include the American flag in the new version, and that's because I hate that side of my heritage 😀👍)

The boy, the myth, the legend:
Mort Nerdings is Lazuli's closest friend, as they've known eachother since birth. (Their mothers were friends in college)
He often gets bullied in school due to his habit of reminding the teachers of homework before class ends.
Besides reading, Mort adores videogames, especially the multiplayer ones he plays Lazuli. He has a tendency to try to impress the people he finds cool, like Lazuli and Gem.
Although Mort is a total and utter coward, he is incredibly loyal to his friends, and would go to the ends of the earth for them!
That same loyalty would also get him killed.

Lazuli Tune is a twelve year old boy living with his mother Venus in Tempus city, which is where the story takes place.
In the beginning of the series, Lazuli is a laid back, funny and sporty kid. His favorite sports were always football and ice hockey, as his dream was to become a professional football player.
His favorite thing to do in his free time was to play video games with his Best friend, Mort.
His friend group consists of the other main characters of the story, Mort, Tina and Gem.
One of Lazuli's biggest fears was always losing the people he cares about. Unfortunately for him, everyone must face their fears eventually...
