Has been ages since I didn't draw with polychromos/markers/toned paper! Missed it a lot. As much as I love digital media there's nothing more destressing for me than spread all the colors and markers on the table and immerse myself in using them correctly. Because if you mess it...you have to start again 😅 There's no magic button to delete the last steps. It makes me feel focused for once (something I CRAVE for lately).

And for the record...I'm unable to draw this guy as a 'healed' elf since he decided to embrace his uruk identity until the end. I tried, but it feels...weird 🤷 It was something I truly enjoyed (although how sad it was all) in the last episode. You can be an uruk noble at heart and be redeemed without having to turn yoruself into an immaculate elf. That was something Tolkien himself had an inner debate about, how mistreated this race was and the fact that they, as any other creature in Middle Earth, had feelings too.
